the JR9907 mod

thought I'd share a modification that I shamelessly copied from my friend Joe. Has anyone thought "how silly it was of MINI to have put a "air foil" on the driver's side wiper blade only?" So put a driver's side blade on the passenger side too! Works like a charm!

That's a relief, I bought a used Mini and thought it had fallen off.

Don't the left and right blades have different lengths?

I don't like the MINI wipers. I want to get the ones that come on the newest BMW 3 Series and VW Rabbit. The are low profile, minimalist, and wipe the window very well.

The tirerack link just asked me if I have runflat tires to determine which wiper blades I'm elgible for. . .

By the way the PIAA sporza silicone blade is only avail in passenger side. . .

Those ultimates look pretty nice, too. . . MINImalist. . .

Considering what the Valeo's sell for($85/pr.) and how they worked on my car (sheeooottt!) I returned them right away.

I agree Jock that the Valeos are rubbish.
But I question the passenger wiper air foil ...

When travelling a high speed, I tend to look basically straight ahead, not out of the passenger side of the screen ... and when travelling at low speed where I might need to look to the side, the air foil effect isn't needed

So what am I missing?

fingernails down the blackboard! the chattering and shuddering of the un-aided blade at highway speeds. Surely I can't be the only one who has experienced this??? I played with the blade angle ad infinitum to no avail!Only when I put the winged blade on did it stop.
