According to the global tracking website, my mini status was "Received at terminal" on 7/23 and scheduled for voyage EA229-AID. My problem is that the ship left yesterday and my status has not budged from "Received at terminal." Wouldn't it now say "Loaded on ship" or something like that if it had gone out? Was it just because it happened on a weekend and the system hasn't updated yet? What do you think?

 

Dunno. I'd call them tomorrow and check. Mine was delivered to the dealer on a Saturday night (real late) but it showed up on Sunday on the tracking site. Definetly give them a call. I hope it's on the boat for you!

 

That's true... I forgot, I could just call up and get my status number and if its 195 I'll
know it shipped. Thanks for the advice.

The ship has left, but I don't know if my car made it
Booking # GBSOU88327. Anyone else with info?

 

With my car it didn't show it as being on the ship until 2 days before it arrived in the states so don't worry just yet. Apparently the shipping company has been having problems with the tracking software and have to enter all data manually. Keep checking back.....on the miniusa site does it still say "awaiting transport"? or has it changed to "en route"?

 

Some people have now gotten the "Loaded on ship message" that have the GBSOU88327 booking number. Not me though. :evil:
Also, the mini website still says awaiting transport. Mini2.com does have a pretty great thread in their forum on it though called "AIDA". There's even this guy who has been taking pictures of the vessel and posting them on the threads.

Cool!! Mine is abord the FIDELIO and sets sail today. (Although the ship doesn't actually have sails) Horrrayyyy!!

 

Ok Zappa, now comes the fun part! Tracking the FIDELIO across the Atlantic!

First, you need the Call Sign of the ship. That's found at http://psix.uscg.mil/psix2/vesselsearch.asp The FIDELIO happens to be "WQVY "

Next, go to http://www.oceanweather.com Go to Current Marine Data in the bottom right. Click on where you think your ship is, and track it with the Marine Observations view ! Right now your at 51N, 12W.

Watch out for storms!

 

I'm in the same boat (pun intended!) as some of the rest of you. I've been reading the MINI2 site as well, and that was very exciting . But now, I'm not so sure. I'm in booking number GBSOU88327 too and right now only show "received at terminal" . Earlier today, I went through each page of the booking number and counted 47 MINI's that's status had changed from "received at terminal" to "loaded on vessel". That's a very small percentage of the 569 or so that are in that booking. I sure hope they just haven't updated and we're all on the ship. If not, I hope I'm on the Isolade because it left the next day with an arrival in NY a day earlier than the Aida.
