Um, I think I did something stupid...

For various reasons that I won't go into I decided to store my 05 S for the winter. In the past I have stored a couple of cars at this particular garage without an issue.

Last fall I drove the car down, aired up the tires, filled the gas tank, added Stabil, etc, etc. Disconnected the negative terminal of the battery, shut the doors, put the cover on, and drove away to wait out our lovely Maine winter.

I'm getting the car out this Saturday And I just had the "oh sh*t" moment. I left the car unlocked but all the doors are shut with the battery disconnected. Is the boot an electronic release? If so, is there a release inside somewhere? If not, how do I manage to get the battery reconnected?

[SIGH]

Well, yeah, but that is going to be a PITA (not a small guy). Is there an inside button or release somewhere?

There is supposed to be a release pull under the back seat; feel around the front lower edges.

That's what I was looking for - thanks!

Drivers or passenger side? Is it in the manual somewhere?

Do you have your manual? or is that locked in the glovebox? That could give you some hints.....also, There is a PDF version somewhere online!

Good luck!!!

The release is about center under the back seat. Feel for a large ring and pull straight out.

If you need you can pop the seats up so you can see the release.
(It's in you manual too, if I confused you)
