In car video from Phil Wicks at Sebring
I've got a 20 minute video from my in car camera from one of the four track sessions in my MCSC from the Phil Wicks Driving Academy this past weekend. You can hear my Alta intake winding up, and you can also hear my heel-toe shifting

I also have a higher quality version with a lot less compression available for download - its a big file though (300mb) so be careful! The link for that is:

I also have a blog entry on the weekend - click on the blog link below for that.

The track time was amazing. Sebring is to sports car racing in North America what Lambeau Field is to Pro Football - it truly is hallowed ground. To drive the same track driven by such greats as Phil Hill, Graham Hill, Juan Manuel Fangio, and many others was very cool. I covered the weekend a bit more in depth in my blog.
There absolutely were Coopers there! One in particular even had the Cooper JCW kit! The Coopers ran very well - in some cases they might even have been a little quicker through some of the corners per their lighter weight. On the long straights they couldn't go as quickly, but if the driver followed the right line a Cooper could easily keep up.

It's actually Dark Silver - I put three coats of Zaino on it before the event, and I also altered the color temperature of the photo as it was taken with a pretty high shutter speed.
yeah, he got a bit aggressive through a chicane, and put the car into the wall. The side curtain airbag deployed on the side of the impact - front airbags didn't. The car definitely looks like it will be easily repaired - I've got a few pics on the .mac homepage where the video is.
The boss was definitely not to happy - neither was the boss' wife
, nudge nudge, say no more!

Thanks again Keith!
I bit OT, but I forgot to ask what kind of camera you used - many on www.sunshineminis.org have commented on how great your photography was.
I have a cannon G6, but it was rather difficult to hang it out of the car while shifting!
