I'm gonna buy a Mini, and I'm willing to travel to get a silk green model (white roof too?) Has anyone seen one at a dealer?

 

There was at least one at Knauz MINI in Chicago. You may be able to get a little off msrp as well.

 

what are you near? they have silk green on long island dealers... both hassel and habberstad. i think with a white top... not sure, call them up they'll be happy to help you...

MINI of the Hamptons had one last week, too (Long Island, NY).

 

Well, Bird, You are half way between California and Long Island!! That Chicago dealer may be the closest to you, and it would still be quite a drive!!

Last I knew, Motorwerks MINI had one - SB/W w/sunroof - hard to say if they still have it - they are located in MPLS, MN.

 

MINI of Sterling VA had one about a week ago. Not sure if it's still there or not.

 

Thanks for all the info. I've been calling around and many are automatics. I'm the last person in the world (apparently) who wants a stick. A dealer in Chicago is trying to change a preexisting order for me. Hope that works. He gets high marks for service!

 

Silk Green is the sweetest color! I wish it were an "S" color. My MCS is EB/W but I would have definitly chosen the green if it were available.

 

Which dealer is it?

It was Patrick. But I still haven't found out if they can do it. I'm anxious and I wish they'd call back. I think it's the auto show.
