I was checking my dealer's online inventory, just curious to see if my MCS has hit their system yet. In scanning for my color, I saw something that seemed. . . wrong. . . yet oh so right.

Since my MINI can't hear me... this would be the most excruciating decision EVER. Hot Orange or Hyper Blue. I'd just have to go into debt and get two. Or <the horror!> get married and convince the wife to buy a hot orange MINI. AHHHHHHHH!

Ya know, I have a feeling its gonna be Solar Red and entered by someone who confused the colors...

 

I'm not a green person at all... but that olive color really looks nice on the mini!

 

my guess is that there was a typo in the model (MCS vs MCSc).

 

Sadly, it was a typo. MA confirmed that it was a typo. Color is Astro Black.

He did tell me that Advanced Auto stocks HO Metallic in cans.

I bugged MINIUSA for months the end of 2004 asking if Hot Orange was going to be available on a hardtop in 2006. I would have waited... When a MINIUSA rep told me to "buy Pepper White and have it painted orange", I gave up my quest to own a Hot Orange hardtop and ordered a 2005 Hyper Blue. I'm extremely happy with Hyper Blue, but still long for Hot Orange...
