I don't know if I'll be able to handle the wait! I ordered my MCS in November, and I still don't have a production number! I called the dealer, and they said SOON...

My due date is still tentatively July 1st, but I'm joining the June club because July is just TOO FAR AWAY!!!!!

Any other Junebugs out there?

Well, I'm in on the June club. Deposit went down on Saturday 2/15/03, and I'm told the order will be submitted in April for May production and June delivery. My patience will have to hold out until June, although the delay of the April order gives me time to change my mind once or twice on options, colors, etc. Currently, I've got the following lined up : MCS IB/W Combo #1 & #3 Foglights AutoDim AutoWipers 16" AllSeasons on White V-Spokes. It'll stay that way unless I'm persuaded that I'm missing something, or have something I don't need. Also, my Mrs. saw the CR/W that I test drove and liked it. I'm afraid it will be a ticket magnet.

YEAH - the launch of the Can't Wait For June Club. Number 8 in a continuing series!

Welcome you neutralites to MCO. You'll live here as you wait out your Road To MINIdom. It's great. This Club will save your life. Promise.

How many page views do you think you'll get? Club Feb is over 20,000 - a feat believed impossible by some naysayers just two months ago.

MINI-waiting is to be shared, relished and then vanquished.

When you have your MINI, come next September, ya gotta be HERE!

Uh, I forgot this part:

When you take delivery of your MINI the official exit shout is:

"I'M OUTA THIS STINKIN' CLUB!".

I know, it seems far away. And it is. But you'll be OK. You will, however, go through a certain amount of sleep deprivation! That's guaranteed.

I guess all you can do is sit and stare, that just sucks. hehehe. We just redlined our "S" in third for the first time and it was about 90MPH. First is about 48MPH, and second is about 70MPH

Im starting to waver i must admit, i cant handle it, may go for an Audi TT instead now....but thats a different story.

Count me in on the June Club! Ordered mine 1/20/03/ MCS, DS/W,Premium and cold packages, 6CD changer, fogs, Whalen shift ****-engraved. I waited 18 months for a Porsche 930---so 6 months seems like a piece of cake...NOT!

Wow, I'm so glad that more people have joined the club! My dealer must have a HUGE waiting list, because I still don't have a production number (ordered in Nov). Motoring advisor assured me that he WILL call me when he places the order, but knowing that only helps so much...

So, now I'm just twiddling my thumbs, wondering how I can make 4.5 months go by a little bit faster. I was seriously considering being cryogenically frozen in the meantime, but my family eventually convinced me that that was not a good idea!

My order went in a week ago and I've been told late April or early May for a MCS.

do you have a production number yet? you can only get that when the *dealer* has placed the order (with the factory, i guess). my dealer has made it clear that he hasn't been able to place my order yet, so i don't know why yours would want to hide that fact! i guess the best thing to do would be to just wait until june . trust me, i'm finding out first hand just how hard that is to do!!

It's a shift **** that's engraved with the shift pattern. I'm also having my license plate engraved on it as well. The ***** are really works of art and are quite heavy......18oz. They can be ordered in satin or polished finish. Doug Whalen is the maker. You can do a search on this site to see the ***** and for the website!
