>>Anyone know which port would be used to offload cars bound for Utah?
PORT HUENEME, CA is the port of entry for all West Coast States. Since Utah is just a state away, I would assume that they would recieve their cars from the same port.

Welcome to the club g3. There are a few here with the estimated production date of April 18, 2003.
With all these posts about cars being assembled or waiting to be shipped, I had to call Mini. Status 150 for me but I also wanted to ask about the console/armrest available in Europe. They have had several calls about the part and she mentioned that it may take time if it does make it here to the U.S. Maybe I need to get in contact with a friend in Europe.

Hey Bear, when did your car finish production? I am assuming that since your car arrived at Southampton today, 4/1/03, you were booked on the 25th of March? So I'm guessing that your car was finished before the 25th?
From what I've seen, once a car is booked on a boat, it takes about 7 days for the car to arrive in Southampton. I just wanted to get some kind of timeline to see how long it will be until I am booked on a boat.

I was "scheduled for production" 4/4/03, but when I called ASK MINI on 3/31 they told me I was already Code 160, the car was finished already... presumably on 3/28... and today when I entered my VIN on the WW Shipping website, it showed me a firm booking on the ISOLDE sailing from Southampton 4/11. So that's pretty fast work.
I must point out I don't KNOW exactly where Nigel is at this minute, really... the Owner's Lounge, a bit behind, says I'm still "scheduled for production" and hasn't promoted me to "awaiting transport" yet... but I ASSUME he's on the dock in Southampton or en route there.
Now that things are happening, it's all happening more quickly than I'd hoped.

>>I thought I might be in the ICWFJC. My production number is 3741208 with an April 18 production date. Any other optimists out there with a 4/18 date?

Damn - I read your post and thought I would check the WW site, but nada. Must STILL be in production.

Ok I have the same info as you but everytime I try to check out the WW shipping site to see if my car is booked there I get a syntax error from their site. What's the deal?
hi all, my car was finished 3/25, was recieved and booked on the Jingu Maru
on 3/27 and is loaded and left port on 4/1 !!!!!!! Caffeinated our cars are
shipmates !!!

Very interesting...I just checked the shipping site, and my MINI was booked on the 25th of March, and was recieved at the terminal on 4/2. That is wierd, because my car was supposedly completed yesterday 4/1!! When I talked to the people at ASK MINI they told me that my car wouldn't get to Southampton for about a week!!??!! Oh well. I guess I will trust the shipping site. It looks like my car is headed to Oregon on the ISOLDE on April 11th!
I wouldn't pay too much attention to the Owners Lounge, as I sm still "Scheduled For Production" as well.

I run into that a lot as well. Usually I just go back and reload the page and it eventually comes up.
Confused
removed? that sucks EPilot- I just checked the WW site and I'm booked on the Carmen, but I think my mini has just finished production (called ask-mini and i was told that they are currently updating)
in any case, happy to be booked on a boat. anyone else on the carmen?

>>I just checked my status on the Carmen and it says I'm received at terminal and I'm booked on the Carmen but it still says I'm in waitlist status.

>>I'm very confused now.
Where exactly does it say that you're on the waitlist? I'm confused, too!
