I'm right behind you on the production line #3741594!! I can't wait! I've tried creating a user on MINI's website but it says that it is an "unknown" MINI. Did I do something wrong while creating my profile? I just used my production number... either way I'm excited.

edit:
Nevermind, I answered my own question...my Prod # must have updated over the weekend - I am no longer "unknown" *cool*

Chrisscat77: I placed my deposit on 12/31/02, and received my order number on 02/20/03 (I got a higher number than the others listed, but got it earlier. *shrug* Who knows what it means...). How long you have to wait depends on how many others are ahead of you on the dealer's waiting list, and how many order "slots" they get each month. If you don't have your production number yet, then your dealership hasn't actually sent the order in.

Cheers,

Dave

You should receive a production # within 24 hours of when your order is actually place with the factory. No number you are still on the dealers waiting list and your car has not been ordered

We haven't heard anything from our dealer since putting in the down payment on the 12th. I think the dealer is submitting all the new orders this week. Hopefully we'll receive a production number soon. Can't wait!

Finally, a club that I can join!

It's been a loooong time coming: I put down my deposit back in July 2002. I received my production number this week and confirmed the order in the MINI Owners' Lounge.

My order: Indi Blue MCS w/white trim and the Premium package. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the auxiliary input adapter will be ready by the time I pick up my MINI.

These are going to be the longest two months of my life!!

Hi All!

O.K. let's get everyone up to date.I made a small change to my order.Instead of the Black roof,I've decided to go with the body colour roof. Now the car will be Red/Red.I think this will be the only change I make(in the actual order),so now I just wait for the car to be built.

Now it's time to start buying some accessories!

Oilman930

Order placed 02/22/03 Production Number: 3741575 Status code 111

Hi Scott. I have about the same schedule. I put a deposit down in Decemebr. Got my production number this week and a tentative production start date of April 4. I live in Chicago and waiting for warmer weather is okay....waiting for the car is a little harder....but we seem to be in about the same line....
cheers

I'm switching clubs!!!!!!!!!!

I got my production number the other day (finally). I was expecting my MINI 4 months from now, but I was told that it would now only be 2.5 - 3 months. So, good-bye June club, I'm joining this one

P.S. estimated production date: April 4!!

Hi ALL, looks like I'm a May guy....got my estimated Production date of 3/28!!
Dealer is saying delivery early/mid May!

MCS DS/DS Prem./Cold Pkg, H&K, Fog Lights, w/ 16 inch 5 Star wheels (dealer is switching normal MCS 16 inch wheels, w/ the 5 star 16 inch wheels that normally come on the MC Sport package....I think they look better!).

Can't wait....and perfect arrival time for me.....all the winter CR#P and roadsalt should be gone by then and I get a long Spring & Summer session to enjoy my new girl! (I need a good name for her....still working on that....may have to wait until I see her though).

cheers lastwave!

you are so right about being happy with waiting until the winter weather passes.
but it's still hard to be patient.

fortunately i'm in the midst of buying a house too, so i can't just obsess
about my mini. the time should pass quickly.

we'll more than likely be riding the same boat over...

i think mini should put travel packages together so that
we can fly over to see the car come off the line, and then
ride the boat back with it...

I hope I don't miss the boat your cars are coming on, and slip to June *ack*. Just checked the OL and have an est. production date of 11-apr-03, so at least it's progressing!

Good morning!

My name is Meghan, and I'm the newest member of the Can't Wait for May club.

My deposit went down yesterday, and I was told to anticipate a mid-March production, and a late-April to early May delivery. Being ever the pessimist, I'm sticking with this club. (It just seems crazy to me that some people who ordered before me are expecting June or later...I'll just die if I have to wait for June.)

My new baby is a Pepper Cooper with black roof and mirrors -- chrome bumper-bits, fog lamps, red cloth interior, red panels, sport seats, DSC, cruise wheel and computer. In addition, this will be my first manual, so it should be all kinds of crazy!

So now what do I do? Do I pace? Do I bounce? Do I visit the dealer and hang around until they get a restraining order? (If they do, will that affect my production date?) I'm going out of my head...

It's great to be a future motor-head!
Meghan
