What is your estimated production date tooblue? When I checked yesterday, I was still status 150...I hadn't even hit the body shop yet.

Looks like this is the place. Ordered on March 6 and got a production number the next day. 2003 MC in Chili Red with white (incl wheels), anthracite, kaleido blk/blk cloth, premium & sport packages, harmon/kardon, and zenon lights. The Estimated Production Date has always been 4/4/03. Today our status went to Scheduled for Production with a VIN showing up also  Now the problem is the same as everybody else............what to do for the next two months? I guess I will be learning more about shipping and the Panama Canal than I ever hoped to in school.

We have a Vin number now! But one thing I noticed is that our Xenon headlights are not listed in the options!! I sent an e-mail to MINI but I don't know what they will do about it......
Should I call the dealer??

est. build date is 4/4....there's still time to correct this...I hope!

Jimbob

BRG, white top, moonroof, sport and cold weather package, Xenons (I hope!)....

I ordered xenon lights and they are listed last in the Factory Ordered Options. I would contact your dealer since they are probably the only ones that could make the change with MINI.

Anyone else in this distinguished group of May hopefuls start ordering aftermarket, factory add-ons, or "toys" for their car yet? I have...
Euro shelf & Moss Skid Plate.
The anticipation is grueling!

Just the skid plate so far. But man, I'm wanting that pulley but I'll wait a while on that one. Someday I would also like to get a hold of some MC 5 spoke wheels.

Oh, and the brake light mod.

lighter weight plastic plate that protects the power steering fan...

i'll search for it.

i plan on getting the rally lights and the euro shelf
so far...

Hello Fellow Minians
I finally ordered my Mini form Brian Harris Mini(No wait no Markup) received a prod# 2hrs later with Prod date of 8 Apr 03. Deliv-mid May 03. I was on a waiting list @ Long Beach Mini since Aug 02. Finally I was fed-up and found the above mentioned dealer. (Lindsey was great) She (the Mini) will be DrkS/DrkS, Sprt pkg/Aero kit/ HK Audio. Don't know what to call her yet, but the plate will express what all "Mini Drivers" feel. (no pun towards the actress) As soon as I get 1200miles on her I will get the pulley, NRP or QS exhaust, BMP or Mini-Madness intake, & LSD.
I wanna keep her lyt as possible for speed an gas milage. Cali fuel isn't cheap!

Planning on rally lights, Helix exhaust, Magnacor wires, rally stripes, lighter wheels and Cooper Cobra tires & euro shelf. If I can scrape together the dough, I'll also do the aero kit.

That would be good if you found info on the plate dot-scott. I would think a plastic plate the same size as the steel plate would work just as well. Just put in a few creased edges and that should keep the plastic from warping.

Welcome to the club Minian.

I know- I call ask-mini every day and check the WW website. this may be a dumb question- but what does the skid plate do?

I was thinking about ordering the green brake pads....

As for extras (aftermarket) I plan on getting a hot pocket for the inside..... and 16x6.5" lightweight wheels and race tires for auto-x... before the car even arrives.... after that I plan to go for a cat back exhaust system... and a K&N or Green filter replacement... oh and when the brake pads need changing I will go for some sort of Carbon pad that is low dust... (performance friction, Green Stuff ect)

Thankfully this MINI is destined for STOCK class auto-x otherwise I would have a VERY VERY long list of suspension mods to dream about.... but thats what my other project car is for.... (1970 Datsun 510 with all the goodies coil overs, konis, internal block work, ect ect ect.... 2 years in the making so far!!! yes I am broke)

Whoo-hooo!!!! My IB-MCS emerged from the MINI "birth canal" today and is now awaiting transport.

Ironically, I should receive my MINI exactly 9 months after I put down my deposit.
