Lets see...

Glovebox organizer
Cell Phone Charger
BMW planner-like thing that holds all of the manuals and registration (stole the one from my wrecked BMW as I never got one from MINI)
Bic Pen
Garage Door Opener
Clock Pod

That's all.

Among all the regular items, I've found these to be a fun conversation piece (and a great insurance policy, depending on who's riding in the passenger seat). I keep a half-dozen of them in there -- a cheap and useful mod!

That's actually a pretty good idea. That way if your car is damaged when parked and you aren't around, the cops can get the info. Europeans are sooooo smart.

Pops open the glove box and the hidden compartment:
in the glove box are: insurance papers, owner's manual, pen and notepad
in the hidden compartment:
CDs: Roxette, Cranberries, U2, Bananarama, Kylie and Siobhan Donaghy. In case you're wondering how I got so many in there, I used the half-thickness CD cases. They're a PITA to open but that's just in case my MP3 player has a dead battery and I'm bored.

It seems to have taken up a home in there.

By the way, it's called a "Gun Compartment"

Seriously, I think the purpose of that is to install the factory CD changer. If you don't get that option, they leave it empty but you can still open the cover. It's the perfect size for CD cases.

Front License plate (Just in case I get pulled over hehe), MINI owner's manual with the leather pouch and all the good stuff, insurance, a bottle of aspirin (just in case the head starts hurting), and that's about it.

MINI owners manual in the leather case, the paper that has all the car information you normally see taped to the window at the dealership, a little notebook that keeps track of my gas mileage, a pen, a maintenance notebook, and registration and insurance information.
