MOMO makes a bigger/wider pedal...and its a bit flatter mini's pedals are arched a bit = smaller contact patch more digging action , so there could lie ur problem. theres a long thread on here w/pix on different pedals do a search!

I had to switch over to automatic transmission cars (now have a '03 MC CVT) after being diagnosed with Morton's Neuroma - a disruption of nerves at the base of the toes. Surgery did not help enough to get back into clutch cars but I can still drive my '73 SAAB 96 which has a wide, flat clutch pedal - however I don't use that car very much. A telltale sign of this condition is that it may not bther you while walking or driving but is quite painful at the end of the day when you get off of your feet.

my heel hurts when i drive around with dress shoes... perhaps its just the
shoes in your case too? I drive a pos civic to work every day and if i
get stuck in some serious traffic jam, i take my shoes off.
i usually wear Converse and wide, flat-bottom shoes for driving. works
the best for me.

I have never had a problem with the clutch in the MINI. I have owned 2 manual transmission MCS and the cars have the most comfortable and forgiving clutch pedals of any other stick shift car I have ever driven, including Hondas.
I drive my '05 MCS with either dress shoes or running snickers all the time with no problems.
May be you need to see the orthopedist or foot doctor for a checkup.
