I've always wanted to stripe my car since I think it's boring plain black, so I got in contact with a guy who could get a good price on decals.


Now I just can't decide how I want it.

What do you think about this, checkered roof, checkered mirrors(not sure about this), bonnet stripes, boot stripes, rallynumber.

Sounds like a bit much for my taste, but you don't have to do it all at once. I would do either the roof/mirrors or do stripes and a number.

The main decision you need to make (classic or sporty). To me, the checkered roof heads in the direction of classic style (and kinda cute style, too), whereas the stripes/number goes for a sportier look.

I went classic with a center-checker stripe on the bonnet and roof, but am thinking about doing something sportier next year.

If you want to hit the bonnet, roof and hood, I'd suggest viper stripes or center stripes. Add a rally number and you're looking very sporty.
