The easy part was giving up some green and ...

my 2000 GTI VR6 with a few mods for my MCS.

The hard part came a few months later when I gave up both my soul and the warranty for a pulley, ecu, cai, catback, coilovers, etc., etc.

I'm much happier now, I really am......

I was glad to give up my 82 320i bimmer. I mean I hated it when I had it just cuz I got stuck everywhere, but I still miss it sometimes...but there is no way Im givin up my O5 Mini S anytime sooon

Traded my '89 BMW 325i w/ 125,000 miles
for new '04 MC w/ 170 dealer-demo miles.

Bimmer's 2.5 liter was getting 24/27mpg
Mini's 1.6 liter is getting 29/35mpg!

'92 1/2 Plymouth Sundance Duster.

MMC 3.0L V6, 5 speed manual transmission, same wheelbase as the new Mini, and a big surprise to anyone who'd try to take me on.

I haven't given it up quite yet, though. I'll be selling it around when I actually get my Mini, probably not until mid to late january. Between now and then, I'll have to do the brakes, get new shocks, service the belts and hoses, and fix a damaged front strut tower (don't race yellow lights in Anaheim).
