R50/53 What did you give up?
I had to make a sacrifice and sold my
1991 Dodge Caravan SE (which I had for 12 years and 122,000+ miles)

The dealership wanted to give me $600 trade in but I declined and sold it privately for alot more. The Caravan made for a good beach and camping van.
It was only me driving around in a big van for 2 years since we got a 2001 Honda Odyssey van for my wife- she didn't like the Caravan's reliability.

I suppose I'll sell the VW sometime soon though. I never drive it anymore.

.I was daily driving a 94 Voyager minivan - kinda miss it, but my mom doesn't mind driving it
. Seriously though, I love the van, can haul a lot of wood, but the MINI is much much much better.
2005 GSXR-1000. Not a good bike for Jacksonville, FL...but a very good bike for Deal's Gap. Decided if I was getting out of sport bikes that I should replace it with something just as much fun on the Dragon.
My beloved '91 Honda CRX and the 50mpg she was still getting. Luckily she went to a fellow who I believe appreciates her. I think I'm one of the rare people who complains that their MINI gets worse mpg (at at avg of 35mpg) that their previous car, plus still marvels at how much bigger the MINI is than their previous car.
Gave up my '02 BRG MC for my '05 PW MCsa because my better half never managed to master shifting - seems to be a good trade for me!
Before the '02 MC we had just married and she took my '02 Altima and gave me the '97 Honda Civic
One night I was shopping for a Classic Mini and she said - "we don't need three cars, why don't you buy a new Mini" - so I did
BTW - after getting the '02 MC, I still bought a '79 RHD Mini 1000

couldn't justify more mods on the SL2 (only 80K miles!). I gained a MCc and a fantasy football league
Keep on cruisin'
dare to want it all...
...and pay the insurance premiums!
the stable:
'91 miata (modded)
'92 miata (sunburst yellow, stock)
'98 Subaru Legacy GT (for ab diving, hauling 'stuff')
soon to be gone:
'85 CRX - my CRX-UV 192k miles, 38mpg should have sold it six months ago, but I must admit I still adore it, and it's 1800lb curb weight. Don't need a computer to diagnose a problem, hasn't left me stranded in 17 years, AC still blows cold (never recharged), and you can fix anything that breaks in an afternoon for less than the price of most people's monthly car payment!

Clover
2000 Honda Civic SI, Borla catback exhaust, 17 inch Konig Imagine wheels. Sweet ride , but I like my MCS better. I noticed that alot of Mini owners gave up , or have Miata's. What's up with that? My other car is a Miata also.
