On my way home today there was this tanker trailer a couple of cars ahead of me. But for some reason I noticed that everytime the driver applied the brakes, the brakes on the trailer kept locking up!
So of course there was smoke everywhere and the trailer left some loooong skid marks. But as I passed through the smoke, I didn't smell a thing 1st Gear
Hey Funk Flex,
Did you have your AC on "Fresh" or "Re-circulate" when you went through the Stank-Zone???
The reason I ask is, I thought the Carbon filter was an "intake filter" located on the inside of the car. By this I mean, it filters smells from inside the car and tops them getting sucked into the aircon system. In other words the filters only work to stop smells that are already inside the cabin from getting re-circulated though the AC (i.e. Cigarette smoke; Pets; smelly feet etc).
If you had it on re-circulate you should only be smelling things that originated inside the cabin....hmmm this could explain the alcohol smell
.
I am interested in your thread since I havn't really tested my carbon filter yet - Pets, Smoking and farting are all banned in my MCS
