R50/53 What IS the HOLD UP?
I was told that my car was finished on June 10. I would assume that it would have been shipped by now....in fact I was led to believe that it was told it was but then it wasn't. It is still awaiting transport a month later. Needless to say I am pretty ticked off because I thought I was getting it like next week and the guy who is supposed to be buying my old car is prett ticked off too because of course I still need a way to get to work. I am mad at my dealership because they only just gave me the VIN# yesterday. Has anyone else encountered this problem or am I the lucky one here?
haha, my Cooper S was at the port of exit for 27 days! It's not 3 days away from docking in New Jersey, and heading over to the distribution center for it's physical...
There is a ship on it's way back, so your mini should be sailing on over in a week or two... Don't fret, or you're probally just going to end up waiting more and more... it will get there sooner or later.

Did the buyer for your old car decide not to buy it. Two years is a long time to wait, if I was him, I would have bought someone elses car. I had to wait about 60days, but not two years, that is an aweful long time. Could the car still be considered new, or would they have to title it as a used car. I guess resale would be great. This gets me thinkin'...
I'll bet there are a lot of dormant threads out there that many of us newer members have never seen. I'll even wager that some of them were pretty great.
Maybe it's time to bring back some of the "classic" threads and relive those golden years...
