So I put it to my family to find a name, and the first one came from my 9 yr old, Becca. 'Grover', she says, 'Like on Sesame Street'. Hey he's cool, he's small, and he's blue. So Grover it is. Now I just need to find a 'Grover' to ride shotgun.

Aaaah, Grover's GREAT, i really dig that name for a cooper. Im sure you can find a lil grover to put in your car.. a buddy of mine had (before he totaled it) a new blue beetle with the tags saying MAX REBO, and he had a lil blue stuffed Max Rebo whatever-he-is sitting on the back hatch cover, lookin out the window. I need some mascot for winnie, and NO, i'm not going to carry a picture of her, or any wonder year's memorabilia!

I know it's rough, but I had a hard time adding NY's and So. Hamp's plots to the map. I also tried to add the Undine, the Medea and the carmen, but none of them were yet reporting.

Ok, I'm starting to get worried now. I'm still at 150 and my estimated production week is this week -- that is in 2 days. I would expect to have started moving down the line by now. How about the other March 7 group (or BRGmini who is right behind me on the VIN list) who are still at 150. Have you all called ASKMINI for an update? Do you all think my Mini can make it down the line and make the Carmen?

 

katie, what website are you tracking it with? i jus went to the ocean weather website, and i couldnt find jppt...maybe i'm going blind?

My prod date is March 7th as well. My car was finished Sat morning 3/1/3, I appear to be 1 of the 1st S's booked on the Carmen, The Ship won't even be in england until the 12th. It also sails on the 12th. I wouldn't worry if I were you. My car went from paint shop to the docks without an update. They really fly once painting is done. Mine is EB/W and I do believe they get special treatment, as they should

Hey Marc, I too am driving my Mini back to Cali from Indianapolis where I ordered it. Last I heard, Long Beach was 12 months wait for a MCS. Should be a fun drive!! Yes, satelite radio would be nice too but i think i can manage in the excitement of the new car.

WOOOO, winnie, has made it through the VPC/VDC whatever you wanna call it, and is now patiently waiting for a truck to take her home. Not only will I be motoring in March, but motoring throughout spring break! sweet!
