I've ordered all my modifications before my '05 MCS has arrived. They include the JCW engine kit, Union Jack mirrors, iPod connector, saddlebags, etc.

The hard part will be waiting for them to finish the modifications after I've waited 4 months for it. Ouch.

I have already recv'd, marker light tint, "Mini Circuit"w/auto up, DSC and garagedoor opener.

Had a discussion with Detroit tuned this afernoon. Looking to order 15% pulley, Hawk pads, set of Kosei TS witheither yokes or Kuhmos and a rear sway bar. All for track duty.

I think we are on the same boat. Expected delivery of May 12. I hope.

I had my first mods in hand before my Mini hit the shore. Those first mods, Euro shelf and rear Fog w/new switch panel, were installed within 24hrs of taking ownership of my mini.

Garage door opener & windshield shade

Instead of spending $200 for the ZCV package just to get a built in garage door opener, I ordered the "Flash2Pass" system for $55. You avoid having to carry around a remote and now just flick your column headlight stalk twice to open a garage door (see http://www.f2ptechnologies.com/ ). The other item is one that I have installed on all of my other cars. It is "The Shade" (see http://www.dashdesigns.com ) for $25. It is permantly mounted on the passenger side of the windshield and you draw it all the way across as needed instead of the flimsy/unwieldy find-a-place-to-store-it auto parts store fold ups.

I ordered a set of Gram Light 57S wheels and KDW2 tires a few weeks ago, and I should get my Mini sometime this week.

My MCS isn't even officially ordered yet and I am working on purchasing mods for it. M7 goodies right now like the AGS and hood scoop.

90% of my mods ordered before I had the car. Only one I regreted: I ordered a jack and tire tools because I understood they didn't come with the car and I wanted to ditch the runflats. They didn't in '02, have since, so I had to sell them as I couldn't return them to the vendor since they were special ordered.

Mods ordered before Mini arrived

Yep, M7 oil catch can, M7 splitter, Zaino products to name a few. Mini won't be here for 6 weeks.

Oh yeah, my wonderful significant other picked up a host of mods for the car for me for my birthday, a month before the car even crossed the pond; ipod adapter, euro shelf, glovebox organizer, and the outrageous pimptastic lite door sills :D

I was thinking about getting a head start on modding my MCS, but I doubt that I'm going to mod at all—I plan on keeping it stock except for a few very minor exterior enhancements (which can be easily switched back to their original state).
