For anyone curious about the Purple Haze color....it FREAKING ROCKS! Much better than I thought it would be. Match it with the Anthracite Trim and Headliner and it is badazz. My car is so dark on the inside even in the daylight.

I added tint an hour after I picked it up and I threw in a new stereo the next morning.

Thanks for the pixs - they still don't do the color justice. It's one of those colors you HAVE to see in person. Glad to see you are happy with it. And I'm sure your new stereo Rocks!!!

The auto is nice but it is hard as hell not to take it above 4500rpms. Oh its sufficient enough below 4500 but it just wants to go so bad. 1/3 of the break in is done and I've had the car for 72 hours. Should have it broken in this weekend or the middle of next week and then watch out.

I haven't played with the paddle shifters yet. I figure once I break it in I will find an isolated road on a saturday and learn how to shift. Shifting up is easy but I always had a hard time of knowing when to downshift.

This car is fun. Plain and simple, no better way to put it. The unsolicited compliments are rolling in and I love it.

In a month or two I'll be parking her under a car port outside of our first house.

It's the Panasonic CQ-C7401U. Got it from Crutchfield for $260. I love Crutchfield cause the wiring harness, antenna adaptor, trim plate and kit all come with that price. And if you get tech questions you can call them anytime through the life of the product. It's my 5th or 6th radio through them.

The display is awesome. I just wish I could have afforded the one with the color display. It plays still images and movies. You can download their software which allows you to create your own using your own pictures and movies. It plays WMA's & MP3's which is why I bought it. It's my second Panasonic and it's even better than my first one which cost more.

The night display is sick and even during the day the blue light shines up onto the anthracite trim.
