Hey all,
I have an all black MCS and have been trying to think of a name, I think i've finally settled on Gunner. But my quest has lead me to an important question, Do all of your MINI's have names, and if so what are they? Just thought it'd be a good conversation/pole sorta thing, so leave a thread w/ your cars name and maybe a suggestion for mine.

DaMINI is a 2003 Silk Green/black car

 

I can't seem to come up with a name for my car in my sig. So I know the feeling. My grandmother got a black dog just over a year ago and we said "Onyx". Onyx of course being the black stone which stands for "black jewel". Hope that helps.

 

Isabella is my 2005 MCSCa. Can't wait for some warm weather in Chicago!!

 

Bruno is my new CR/B JCW MCS and he's a hottie

 

WOW! I love it, Gunner just might be changing, i'm gonna try onyx on for size. Thanks very much, from both Onyx and me. Keep em' coming.

My friend use to have an all black Audi A4 called "Charcoal" If you like Gunner, you might like "Luger" :smile:

 

Gunner is great! I am still thinking of a name for mine. I tried "Bella" on for size since she is a Open MCS and all...but it just didn't fit.

 

I'm leaning toward "Basil" for my "scheduled for production" Hyper Blue / White MC. Basil is in honor of John Cleese's character, Basil Fawlty, in the British comedy TV series Fawlty Towers.

As a matter of fact my first car was a black MR2 that I named Angus

Oscar, my solid gold E46, is going to be the hardest car to sell of all (selling him for the on the way un-named Mini - just a better, smaller, city car for me)

 

Well seeing as how I'm a huge OSU fan and a buckeye alum.. The choice was simple!

I almost got a British comedy tie myself. I wanted "Mrs. Bale" a character in "As Time Goes By" but my SO already dibbed it for her Honda. Then "Dingo" came to me out of nowhere and it just seemed to fit.

My '05 MCS is LY/W so "Daisy" just popped into my head and stuck.

 

Poco,is a BRG,MC.Poco means small/little in Spanish.Whiper snap was my next choice

 

I went ahead and used Wiggles for my screen name and car name. I thought WIggles fit.

 

Any time now we may get flamed,some folks don't like the naming of cars

I always name my cars as well

03 CR/B Cooper is named Jason, after Jason Statham
my A4 is named Ini.. as in Ini the Audi

 

If I had a nice black MCS like yours I'd call it "Blackie"


...but I dont. My gf didnt like that name, but I think it's nice.

I actually named my car after the personalized plate I got it. "Camel (GB)"

Gunner is a good name, I like that more than Onyx. GunBus I like better.

 

This came to me out of nowhere after several false starts, and it just seems right:

"Murray", after Murray Walker, the energetic, enthusiastic ex-commentator for Formula One.

Our Cabrio is named Ariel. We love the ocean so I chose her name from the Little Mermaid movie. And she just seems to swim right along - LOL!!!

And of course, our former 02' was Scooter...

my audi i had previously was named sebastian.

 

We only name our Mini's

My wifes '04 MCS is Max

My '05 MCS is Ripley

Our 1959 Morris Mini is Thatcher

Our '04 Dodge Dakota pickup is just the truck.

 

Yeah,my 94 Dakota's name is truck,but she is up for sale.

Our 2004 MCS is Pigwidgeon, Pig for short. The name is from the Harry Potter series, where Pigwidgeon is a happy, hyper little owl. It fits him--he's a happy little car :smile: .
