time for an oil change .. so I called up my MINI service dept to set up an appointment but I was shock when the rep told me their service hours

M-F : 7:30am -1:30pm

Closed on Sat.

Is that normal? .. or it's just my dealer.

 

That's pretty brutal. Not a very big window of opportunity to get in there at a decent time. Where are you?
Up here in BC, my closest dealer in Vancouver is M-F 8am-6pm, closed Sat and Sun.

I think all dealers are different. Crevier in Santa Ana is open Tue thru Fri and 1/2 a day on Sat (I think it's 1/2 a day but could be wrong)

You must be in Washington (the State) Fife to be exact. If not, that is the same delema we deal with. Only one dealer between Canada and Portland Oregon. They got us by the short hairs. YOYO is that you?

 

Those hours are horrendous!

I'm lucky where I am. Our dealer's service hours are Mon-Thurs 7:30-8, Fri & Sat 7:30 to 6. Those are better hours than most any other service dept I have seen around :smile:

 

yeah .. those hours are the worse service hours ever. Probably is one of the worse MINI dealer in US. not to mention I waited 15mo. for my car.

 

Boooooo.... I can understand not being open for service on Saturday as the dealer we go to here in So Cal is not open on Saturdays either. But - what the heck are those short hours during the week????? That is crazy!!

I contacted the service manager at this dealer about these service hours. The times stated are for service appointments (other than oil changes) they do not want to start working on car after 1:30pm so they have time to get the car back to owner on the same day, oil changes can be scheduled as late as 3:30pm. Also, this dealer is going to start up saturday service in April.
