I haven't.
Although I have a pre-facelift '04 R53 - I was searching for lens replacements in the last few years. To no avail; I wound up successfully polishing the original lenses, by hand, back to 95% original clarity with
3M Rubbing Compound 03900. 3M Rubbing Compound 03900.
The results are a tremendous improvement. However, I'm still hoping that replacement lenses will eventually become available.

its interesting my lenses look fine or the most part but when look at from an angle they have many small cracks in them, like crazed. this won't sand out

I guess I am somewhat fortunate. My lenses appear to have no crazing. I have the washer feature. They are perfectly clear but with very, very slight yellowing compared to new. Not strikingly noticeable. It is not unsightly.
I looked on Ebay "pre owned" @ $180ea - $250ea. Some Pics looked good but received no response from sellers for further inquiry regarding crazing.
I frequent salvage yards (headlight assbly $50ea), and always look for a clean garage kept R53 with washers. They can be hard to come by. Even if I luck out + having a heat gun, almost seems to be more work to swap out lenses successfully.
Then there's this aftermarket example:
Mini Cooper 2002-2005 pair headlight assembly. Mini Cooper 2002-2005 pair headlight assembly.
.....compared to the cost for a new OEM replacement assembly.....

You can use halogen lenses on xenons.

Maybe if your handy with tools, but I don't think you would ever get it sealed properly so would probably fog up inside. :/

I used this
3M kit 3M kit
. I would say Here2Go is correct; the polish kit & less than an hour's work gets the lenses back to about 95% of original clarity. I did mine 2 years ago, & they're still pretty clear. Make sure you tape off the chrome ring really well. Take your time & you'll be pleased with the results.
