How to fix yolk on self leveling headlights

Guys I'm sorry but I've tried searching and get nothing specific. So here goes. During my suspension rebuild I found that my self leveling lights are pointed very low on my 06mcs. I reinstalled the levelers on the control arms but they don't seem to work. I detached the leveling arm and moved it by hand with no change in my lights. I also tried adjusting the **** on the back of the light and get very little movement. I read that sometimes the "yolk" comes loose from slamming the hood, which was done many times during the last 6 months while on the quick jacks. I am thinking that it might have shaken the yolks loose? Is there a tutorial on how to fix this? Do the lights have to be completely removed? Thanks and sorry for the questions. I really did try the search engine, I just suck at it. Oh and for what it's worth, the headlights worked fine prior to tearing into the suspension.

Here are some pics of a passenger headlight with one ball joint popped loose. Not sure if you can get enough leverage to pop them back into place without removing or taking the headlight apart though.

Projector adjustment connected at 3 o'clock position looking into opening.

Projector adjustment popped loose at 9 o'clock position looking into opening.

Thank you for the pics. It helps. I can remove just the back to expose the yolk? If that's true then at least I can determine if that's the problem.

I don’t remember if the igniter was still attached when I took the pics. It probably needs to be removed to re-seat the adjusters for sure, but there might still be enough of a gap to see if it’s the problem.

I don't have any code showing up for a headlight issue. I went to the garage to see what I could see and can't even figure out where the pic you sent was on the housing. I did check the adjustments and both front lights are maxed out on their up vertical. I can lower the beam, but not raise it any higher. I also hear the motors in both lights and see a slight dip when they initiate. The noise is a little gravely though. It initiates, dips the lights a tiny bit then grinds/rumbles for a second and returns to original position. Does this sound like a yolk issue. I don't want to tear apart my headlights of it's something else.

The pics were taken with cover removed from the headlight where you change the bulb. Below is a pic of the back of the headlight housing. Just not sure how visible the joints are if the igniter is installed.

Remove projector bulb cover to access ball and sockets for the projector.

If the headlights dip at all is there a yolk issue? I am wondering now if somehow my levelers at the suspension are the issue. He do you properly set those? It's a lot easier to tweak those than disassemble the headlights at this point. Ugh.
