HELPP! Low car problem?

Does lowering a mini (or any car in general) cause the headlights to shine toward the ground? If i used H&R springs or Eibachs, will I need to install driving lights or new headlights? I've heard that lowering a mini causes the lights to shine downward and thus not making it effective. Is this true? If so, what would fix this problem?

If your car has the normal halogen lights, then you may need to re-aim them. This is done with adjusters that are built in to the headlight housings.

I'm not sure what has to happen if you have xenon headlights.

The xenon headlights have manual adjusters as well. Lower the car. Park in a dark area against a big wall and re-aim them. Simple as that. No driving lights needed

I was lowered 2.5" and never adjusted. Don't consider it as a thing to worry about. The lights were still aimed well!

Only if you lower just the front.

I know that some have the auto-height adjusting headlamps that can probably just be reprogrammed. They auto level based on suspension height front to back so that can throw it off. Check at the dealer or online if there is a way to adjust that if they are the auto-height adjusting lights. I also believe thats only with the xenons.
