Input needed ...spacers

Currently not running any aftermarket lower control arms...but we'll see, going on the alignment tomorrow.

Thanks for any help.
Alignment went great...camber set with room to spare without getting aftermarket control arms or camber plates on front.

I measured and I'm thinking 10mm front and 15mm rear. Right off I'm thinking I need longer hub bolts for the rear, not sure about front yet.

Cosidering Akata on ebay. but in the description on ebay it has "12" as thread type. This being an r56 my lugbolts are 14x1.25. Will these work? I'm thinking 14 is the diameter of the lug bolt thus the holes in the spacers are too small at 12. So maybe not ???

Akatas don't look as nice as the ones from Turner Motorports but wondering if I can get by OK saving $.

Thanks for any knowledgeable input.

The spacer bolts for R56 vehicles are 14 X1.25 The Spacer bolts for R50, R53 are 12X1.5. Make sure you are selecting hub centric spacers with a raised center bore. Another nice feature is a locating bolt hole that locks the spacer and rotor to the center hub. Spacers for generation 1 and gen 2 are the same . bold diameter and thread pitch are different.

Selecting size depends on wheel offset and tire width. here is a video. Although its for BMW, same applies to Mini Cooper.

So if 12 is the bolt hole diameter, Mine is 14? How can that be good?

I'm nor sure of the other brands but the bolt hole diameters on our Racemax spacers are 14mm. Its the center bore the keeps the wheel to true center.

You may check our web site, the spacers with correct length bolts are not that expensive, and they have the locator bolt system that lock the spacer and rotor to the hub.

The best looking spacers for the least amount would be the ones from ECStuning. Plus they offer a bunch of widths that fit the 4x100 bolt pattern.
