R53 retrofit navi and hi everyone

Hello guys im new and hi everyone.
I have Mini Cooper S R53 2005/6 and i have 2 question im following this site for few years but i just registered. Ok i just switched from single gauge and central speedo to dual speedo and navi and EVERYTHING works great except i cannot get asc light on and of when i hit the switch anyone knows whats the problem?! And second i connected all wires from dvd/navi under the seat except one yellow with green line from red connector so can anyone tell me what that wire is for. Thanks a lot in advance.

do you still have the old cluster? You need to update the options in ncsexpert here's what I do. install old cluster, use ncsexpert to dump the settings and save them somewhere safe. Install the new cluster, use ncsexpert to dump the settings and go line by line

DSC has it's own section, you can also use ncsdummy to make it easier you probably have a nav from a ASC-T or T car

just the middle, you can try winging it and just go into ncsexpert and toggle to try, pretty sure it's one or a combo of these settings but it's been a LONG time

also check "ASC" setting in kombi

I went though the whole thing and transferred settings that made sense and it fixed my DSC errors. I went from a single tac stock speedo to a dual gauge + nav

Check first if pin 7 and 8 are bridged. If have a small switch on INPA,try to connect to the car using first one switch position if not work, try in oposite position of switch. If not have a switch, than remove INPA cover and solder a bridge between pin 7 and 8.If not work, pm me and i'll install in 10 minutes by remote INPA working version for R53.
