KPH displayed on R53?

Hey everyone, i have an r56 and we are able to have kph displayed on our tachometer. We'll i have a friend who is trying to figure out how/if he can do the same on his r53. Thanks for the help, we've been searching around for a while for an answer. Thanks again.

Hi,

The only way is to take it to the dealer for a reprogramming of the computer.

I thought maybe there where something like the german VW/Audi cars have VAG-COM, that mini/bmw had something similar.

Will contact the garage and ask them to do it.

As I mentioned via PM, Ross-Tech had planned to work on a MINI version but we never saw it come to light.

try and hold down the auto ac button...I think that changes the temp to celcius and the speed to kph.

Doesn't mean they're the only one.

I'm working with my brother, I can see the options, trying to get pass a glitch in the software we have to actually make the change. So far, the cable was the only cost at 40 bucks.

Yeah, it's called NCS. A lot of people with BMWs are successfully using it, only problem is, it's all in German. And this software is made by BMW.
