Sprintex tensioner setup , HELP

So I'm wondering if I've had my tensioner installed wrong from the day I've had this kit and that's been the cause of going through 2x tensioners and fighting getting my belt on every time...
I watched the Sema video of the sprintex kit and how they have the tensioner set on the SC ( though not bolted to engine ) it sits much much different than the sprintex instructions show WHICH DONT SHOW MUCH or explain how to orient the new style tensioner. Is it sapose to sit at the same angle like the stock one ? I'm so confused and even to the point of just giving up and selling it, though I'd rather get it rite since I've done so much with this engine now...I will post pics soon. I'm also taking it apart and reinstalling the tensioner with a new piston tensioner thing and a new belt that according to sprintex IS the correct belt for a 60mm pulley and 2% crank....
please help guys !!!!!!!!!!!!

Also I seen all 3x of my tensioner things have been 3x different lengths even though they're all sapose to be the same part for the same car. Can someone chime in if this Is the correct one , it's the og one I bought the kit with...

I can't offer any help on the Sprintex tensioner, but as far as the belt sizing I think it's much much easier to use the metric chart.

You have a 1410mm and a 1400mm so it's simple to see that one is 10mm longer than the other.

I think that you are correct in thinking that you need a 1405 if we use this reference from ECS where they list a 1415 for use with a 2% crank + 70mm pulley:

Assuming that's right for the application, then subtract 10mm for your 60mm pulley,
and a 6PK1405 size would seem to serve best.

Here's what I have in my archive of parts info for Sprintex pulleys....
(these sizes are for stock crank pulley, so adjust accordingly)
Belt:
69mm/70mm
Bando 6PK1415
Gates 060557

64mm
Bando 6Pk1410
Gates 060555

60mm
Bando 6PK1400
Gates 060550 (060551 slips)

I had my best luck with the above mentioned Bando brand belts, esp over the Gates. (Gates always slipped for me)

Oh, @MiniManAdam just went through some of my old parts, found a brand new tensioner piston (the one I PM'ed you the number for)
Let me know if you have trouble finding one, I'll sell this one $30.00 shipped

So that bottom number IS the belt length ? Omg why wouldn't any parts place or something tell me that.. lol they obviously didn't know because I'd asked them the exact measurement of it and she didn't know but now knowing that helps me ALOT.

Yup, give me old school parts stores any day.
It's amazing that someone in a parts store didn't understand the simple system used to measure belts.
Even if they didn't know how to decipher the rib number and groove style, you'd think they would have at least understand the measurement system.

FYI, one of the simplest ways to see if what you need is available is to simply Google it. (Since of course mfg's don't make belts in 1mm increments)
E.g. If a 6pk1400 is too long, simply Google "6pk1395 belt" and see if you get a choice, or if it tries to show you results for a 1393 or 1397.
This will get you in the ballpark.
