Belt Tensioner Stop Broke?
I noticed today while changing my control arm bushing that my Detriot tuned belt tensioner stop broke??? Every seems fine with the tensioner, no holes showing so I need a new belt but the tensioner seems good

thats really odd. i never got one of those things, they just look flimsy to me... but what do i know. i hope everything is alright.

If you picked it up from Chad just give him a call. Mine did the same thing once and he took care of it. No issues after that.

Mine broke too, and when I took the tensioner off, it fell apart. It seems to me the flex was just enough to break the wire off the ends.

Just had my second one break, and in the same spot: right at the eyelet.

Same thing happened to me - DT stop frayed and broke. I think the product design is fundamentally flawed.
