2003 On board computer not responding
On my 2003, the OBC is not responding. I do have the S550 option and the turn signal lever with the button. That said, the screen under the tach is blank and pushing the button has no effect.
Shouldn't the LCD screen show something even if the button on the stalk was non functional? Not sure if it being blank means the screen is out, bad fuse, or something else.
Thanks!

I pulled apart the column to verify the plugs were in tight, and all was good. I put things back together and tried again.
With the key turned prior to atarting, all the lights on the tach work. Even the hood ajar at the lower LCD even comes on. But is rest of the lower LCD is blank and pushing the OBC button on the turn signal lever does nothing.
Think my OBC button is bad? Should the screen show at least the last item selected rather than staying blank? Out of ideas and I don't want to waste money swapping parts just guessing.

It's weird that the fault lights work on it, but the lcd is bad. Figures.....
At least it shouldn't need coding since I already have the option...lol
Thanks!
