According to the WW site, the Jingu Maru is scheduled to leave Southhampton on January 19th and arrive in Charleston on February 1st. The next ship, the Freedom, is January 21st and February 4th.

Is there no tracking info on the WW site or on the OL? If it is on the OL I wouldn't worry to much but I don't know about the WW site. My Bruno still shows up, for hte moment anyway. Good luck!

Nope OL still says awaiting transport. I emailed the shipping co. and asked about it. I may or may not hear back from them in time. I plan to call ask mini tonight. Has anyone been able to find the Jingu Maru on the WW fleet list. It is possible that I am just blind but i seriously can't find it on their list of ships. I see it in the schedules but not in their list of owned ships. There are 2 sites that show fleet lists and i don't see it in either place. hmmm, weird.

Your car most likely was bumped from the Jungu Maru to another vessel outside of WW's fleet as they ran out of room for your car. My car was booked onto a WW vessel and it tracked on their site until after the vessel sailed. Then it disappeared. My MA was able to call distribution (which ASK MINI doesn't have visibility to) and get a bill of lading number for a K-Line vessel. A call to K-Line customer service then got the vessell name (EMDEN) so I could track via sailwx. Call your MA before you go mad! I emailed WW and never got a response, so don't hold out for that.

BTW my Mini was purchased from a east coast dealer, so they use K-Line for east coast as well as west coast, contrary to what some will tell you.

HTH,

Well I see that your MINI's will be making their pit stop right here in Charleston, I'll be happy to drop by and wave for you or for the right amount I could be persueded to hijack your MINI and deliver it directly to you!

In all seriousness, congrats to all of you about to receive delivery of the most fun you've had.... (you can finish that sentance for yourselves!)

I am a fearing that ur right. I got on the k line site and it was worse to deal with than the ww site. i can't even put in a vin there you have to have "their" numbers from what i can tell. I will be on the phone with the MA tomorrow. By the time it quit showing up it was too late here to call him. I can't even figure out on the k line site how to see what ships are headed this way. I admit that i have not tried very hard to find much there. broken hearted, too down to do much till i find out the truth. Hopefully I will get news tomorrow, good or bad. I can live with it, not knowing is worse!!!!

Wiggles, your MA will ease your mind tomorrow. I went through the same thing last week. My car showed up on the WW site on the 11th, and the next day my VIN was totally rejected! But, thanks to Gianni's feedback, I figured I was on a K-line ship. Sure enough, the next day, my MA told me the date my car left the port, and the day it was scheduled to arrive in Charleston, and I was able to go to the K-line site and match up the dates with the Emden (my MA had no Bill of Lading info) I'm sure you're in the same boat (I know, a real bad pun). Keep the faith!

I am pretty sure you are right. It hadn't occured to me that I'd been bumped but now I am a believer. I called ask mini and they told me my car got to southampton on tuesday so i figure she at least will make it on one this week, i hope. there was a k line that left today and a ww that leaves tomorrow. I sort of figure i'm not on the ww because i would still be in their system. The good news is that if I were to be on the kline that left today I will beat the original ship as this one doesn't make all the stops the jingu maru does. I appreciate all the support and ideas, i am much calmer! Thanks! HB (my initials not hyper blue)

Has anyone been able to find the Jingu Maru on the tracking sites? I can't see it on one of them and on the other, it only has old info.

Thanks!

The bill of lading number for a K-Line shipment won't work on the K-line sites tracker. It only works for containers. You will need to call K-Line's customer service line at 800-609-3221 and choose option 4. The nice person at K-Line will give you the vessel it is on, voyage number and the current ETA into port.

Cheers,

My MINI was completed on Jan. 13th but seems to be having trouble finding a ride to the US. I hope that they are not keeping it off the ship because it has BBO.

Has anybody found any boat on any of these sights?
The Trianon was supposed to have left Southampton on the 18th to arrive in NY on the 26th, but I can't find hide nor hair of the beast on any sight. Beggining to think these sights are bunk. The ship should be mid-ocean already.
Mini OL still has me listed as awaiting transport 4 days after my car got underway. Worst lagtime I've seen yet. WW still lists me on the boat, so no worries here.

Yeh I think the ship does not report back. I found some information on the reporting systems. The owners of the ships put the reporting hardware in voluntarily. But I have found the Titus and Altantic compass on the sailwx site an both are WW ships that left about the same day or a day after. here is the URL http://www.sailwx.info/shiptrack/shiplocations.phtml you may have to zoom and/or pan to find them -30 long 45 lat. But no sign of the TRIANON

Yeah. I'm done screwing around with those sights. The car gets here, the car gets here. I'm taking a break from obsessing for awhile. I'll get excited again when I know it's in NY.

I agree wholeheartedly only 5 days left of trying to ignore the MINI.

Did some searching and found that the Jingu Maru has the following schedule:

Arriving in:

New York on Jan 31
Baltimore on Feb. 2
Charleston on Feb. 4
Brunswick on Feb. 5

Knowledge will help set us free!

It's already been delayed? When our cars were loaded the WW site said it would be in Charleston on the 1st, now its the 4th. I hope it doesn't get delayed much more

I just checked the schedule again and it seems that the Jingu Maru is in port in Belgium until the 23rd.

Check-out this site:

http://www.zedis.be/

There is a button for English translation on the upper right. Check ships in port and select the Jingu Maru....info there. You can even track it's arrival and departure points from the port ... I believe.

Wonder if our MCS is enjoying some Stella Artois.

This is bizarre! Two cars, twenty spaces apart on the assembly line, will arrive at Charleston *nine* days apart. Look at the potential upside, Amanda: With the weather we've been getting, I'll probably be driving home from the dealer in a snowstorm.......I'll bet the Feb weather will be much better for you.

Yeah, I am feeling the same. I've waited a long time just to order one, so what is a day or two extra? It seems to me the ship arrival/depature scheduling is a guessing game at best.
