Just checking to see if anyone made it onto the Jingu Maru that left the UK on 12/1. As of this afternoon I am still showing as booked and received at terminal, however I was on waitlist status. When I search using the Booking Number and the Bill of Lading number that I was assigned, I come up with over 400 minis, all showing as received at terminal but not loaded (except one). I assumed that when you received a Bill of Lading number, you were assigned to a specific voyage. Am I wrong? Any ideas? Is it possible that WW still has not updated their site to indicate which cars were actually shipped?

 

I wish I had the answer to that one. Our's is also listed for that voyage. It was moved there from the maresk wind.

Exact same thing happened to me. I'm waitlisted on the Jingu Maru as of now (And it already sailed)

 

Same with me too. Still in waitlist status. UGH, so frustrating!!

 

All that are still showing waitlisted on the Jingu Maru should call AskMINI and check what they have. I called and was informed that my car is on the Jingu Maru, even though WW's website still has me as waitlisted. I don't know if WW is having problems with their site or what, but if you search by booking number or Bill of Lading number for the cars booked on the Jingu Maru, everyone is listed as either removed or received at terminal (except one car that is listed as Loaded).

Ok I could not wait and hope the shippers web site will be fixed so I called 866 ask mini and I was told my car is on the ship and will be in NJ on Dec 11th. and an arrival date in sunny and warm Buffalo, NY by the 17th.

Is this thing seaworthy? Looks like a floating laundry tub---or maybe one of those things you hand mix cement in. Since my MCS is purportedly on-board, I sure hope theres no Atlantic storms for the next couple of weeks

 

I called ASK MINI and I am on the Jingu Maru!! WOO HOO!! Amanda said it's due in on the 11th!!! I am SOOOOOO Happy!!

 

The site says I'm still awaiting shipment but a call to ASK MINI today confirmed that I'm on board and due in Bayonne N.J. terminal 12/11!! I figure I'm 2 weeks ahead of where I expected to be. They indicated an additional 4-5 days until arrival at dealer in Huntington Station N.Y.....then enclosed trucking to Los Angeles. I'm about $5K and 6 month's ahead of trying to buy my MCS in L.A.! MCS, DS/W, black leather and all 3 pkgs. Looks like a fun Xmas/New Year.

BTW, twins, how much is your enclosed trucking cost from NY to LA? I am seriously considering the east coast purchase option as well.
