Damn it... MissouriMini you are ahead of me! I just called and I am still status 112! I figured you and I were going to be linked together, but you are ahead of me! Still scheduled for the 6th week! no change! boohoo!
Oh well, as long as it stays where it is it will all be good!

Wow katcal... that is fast... I did not get a production date anywhere near that fast. Tell us about your MINI a MC or a MCS? Color? Options? Where are you from and anything else you would like to share with the group.
By the way... Welcome :smile:

Yeah. True. These are as close to similar that I could find. I really just want mine to take pictures of it and post em here. The point is blue with black top and those are hard to find. I don't have time to peruse the million on here. I should tho.
both are gorgeous... if I wasn't deadset on BRG I would go with either EB or IB... I really like the black roof on both of those in your pixie!
I just had to have BRG on my first British car. I am German by background, but I prefer the British history!

As luck would have it, I didn't get the message that MissouriMini got moved up, until all of AskMINI was in a mandatory meeting, thus couldn't give me my status. SOOOO....I'm assuming I'm still @ 112, and will keep the promise to myself not to call again until Monday - thus maintaining the appearance that I'm a patient person! :smile:
Here's the latest update. I moved some of you around. We've got a couple of people that will probably get their presents in February, but at one time they mentioned they were March so we'll keep 'em around! There are a couple of "Febs" out there that may slip into March, but sound like they're happy over there.
It's starting to get interesting! Stay Tuned....

Thanks for the welcome! First of all he be a she!
The baby is a cooper. Silk Green, white top, leather, sunroof -- this is California!
I ordered from the San Francisco dealership so I just took one of their slots in queue. I do say I'm pretty lucky!
Anyway I'm going to be 50 next month and it is time to move on from the CAMRY!

>>Well I was updated to 182. Does anyone know the website that you can track the ships on?
>>I haven't been assigned one just yet, but one day I will be.
MiniZee,
OK. Please realize, I shamelessly stole this.....
Let me know what works for you and what doesn't.

Tracking the Boat
http://www.geocities.com/dsb106/boattrack.html
With a little bit of information, you can actually find where the boat that your MINI is on. You are going to need your VIN number. If you haven't yet received your VIN, then this will not work because your MINI probably hasn't completed the production process. If you do have your VIN, and your know that your MINI is on the boat, here is what you do:
* First, go to the tracking site at http://213.31.205.37/GLWebApps.AppTracking. Here you will be able to get the actual name of your boat (you are going to need this for the next step).
* Then, go to the Coast Guard site to get the call sign of your boat. Enter the name of your boat in the field labeled Vessel Name. You don't need any other information.
* After that, go to the accuweather site. Enter the call sign in the 'Buoy/Ship Observations' field and then click decode. This will give you the lat/long of the ship (each ship is basically a mobile weather station, that's how the weather site can find 'em).
* Finally, go to the maptech site. In the box at the bottom labeled 'Find Maps or Charts by Lat/Lon (Decimal Degree)', enter your lat/lon from the accuweather site. VERY IMPORTANT...if your latitude is XX.X S, you must use a minus ( - ) sign before the number, and if your longitude is XX.X W you have to use the minus ( - ) sign as well. If you do not, you will find that your MINI is coming to you via the Suez Canal, instead of being off of the coast of Spain.
That's it. All of this information came from this thread at minicooperonline.com, posted originally by cgehring. you might have to fuss with it a bit, but you'll get it. Have fun you crazy miniac!

Some of the ships I've gleaned from various conversations...
SHIP NAME; CALL SIGN
AIDA;
Carmen; SGUC
Electra;
Hercules Leader;
Jupiter Diamond;
Maersk Wave;
Tai Shan;

I GOT A VIN#!!!!!!
I checked the Owner's Lounge @ 11:30pm EST and saw that I finally moved to the "Scheduled for Production" status. Don't know if my numeric status is still 112 or if I'm a 150 also. I guess I'll just wait until Monday to find out.
Woo Hoo!!!

Wow - the March Club is rockin'! You guys'll hit 15,000 page views or more and set a new record! I don't think January (about to peak at around 12,000) or February (hot on their heels and headin' for 14,000 or more) will hit your magic numbers.
Go get 'em. And hurry up and wait for your MINIs. They'll never be here soon enough!
