Just checked the owner's lounge and it said my car is at the dealer!
No calls yet so obviously it is still gettig checked out but just knowing it is here is great. I will have to wait till probably next thursday (my day off) for pickup but I can go visit anytime and I am still officially a January club member!!! Hope the news is as good for everyone.

I would call the dealer. My owners lounge did not update to at the dealer until I had already had the car for 4 days. I bet he has had the car a few days already.

15 Jan - paid in full
21 Jan - MINI arrives at dealer
22 Jan - find out and go see her... AWWWW
22-30Jan - anxiously waiting final paperwork... uugghh bad luck and problems abound...
31 Jan - Bad luck has ended ...MINI will finally come home tomorrow afternoon.. with a cool blue MINI Junior seat and HOPEFULLY a chrom grill as well...

Will post pics.. though you've all seen the color combo more than once I dare say....

 

Good news from Moritz!!

The Tranny-Transplant was a success and my MCS will be ready for pickup tomorrow at 1:00. Forcast is sunny and 70 deg, so good motoring weather looms.

Maybe I'll run into Okie, eh?

Hopefully someone else can turn out the lights on the January club.

 

I'm going to arrive later in the day ElGuapo. Does anyone know where the Club keys are? I'll lock up and turn off the Lights, just in time to motor.

 

As an honorary member here is my update;

My MINI was off loaded from the Hercules Leader last night at 6:24pm.

I called MINIUSA this morning no update, they told me to call back later. Called MINIUSA at 2:30pst. New update, My MINI is at the VPC and the work order has been printed.

It looks like "Tigger" is tired of the boat and ready to start hopping.....

 

You guys are all terrific! I've been away for a couple days and you have kept the January Clubhouse hopping! Wow, we've now got well over 12,000 page views and are still ahead of Club Feb. ElGuapo and Reb, you both have such team spirit! I love your posts about sticking with the gang even if you get pushed to a Feb delivery.

Miniron, thanks for the info on the aux jack. I'll be keeping my eye peeled for it.

Mini-rolls, I tell ya, that Club Feb has given us a run for our money. You've surpassed the January Club in posts and I have no doubt you will set an impressive record in posts and page views once you clean out the fridge and turn off the lights.

Just looked at Barkys list. Is everyone on track for tomorrow? Looks like Cami, Oki and Elguapo have appointments set.(ElGuapo's dealer sure like they have really come through with the tranny change!)

How about Binx,Reb, Mr. Clean and Hazzard? It would just be too cool if you all made it out tomorrow as well, just in time for a week end of motoring

I am still picking up my MINI on the 14th, talked with dealer today and all should in line and I fly back to Seattle that morning and go right to the dealer for pickup....

So cool, The light at the end of tunnel is getting bigger.....

I figure that thought due to paperwork (check) issues and days off I may not be able to pick up my mini until next week but it was here and in a perfect world I would be getting it in January so got to have January club spirit. It is the only club I've gone to on the site and I'm sticking with these great people.

Your mini sure is hopping in true Tigger fashion. That is so great that it is moving along so well now. I have watched your tale of woe along the way and I'm glad to see the fairy-tale ending in sight. Good for you for sticking it out.

 

Here we are.. the last day of January. Wow, back when we ordered are cars, did we ever think this month would arrive? Did we ever think delivery of our Minis would arrive? For most of us, it has. There are a few clubbers who are yet to take delivery of their vehicles and won't be able to do so until next week, but it sounds like their Mini's are at least at the dealerships (you will always be January clubbers).

The January club has been great. We continued the tradition started by Rygold and have taken it to new levels. The February, March and April clubs look like they are following tradition and taking posts/views to even higher levels.

The club has been great. Thanks for all your support during the tough waiting period. It sure made the time go by quicker.

"Tigger" cleared the VPC yesterday and was released to the carrier. The carrier picked up "Tigger" this morning and he is already in route to NW MINI.

Just under the wire. My beautiful MINI came home about 4 hrs ago, driven by my very helpful hubby (though I do believe it was not real hardship) :smile: Unfortunately I was laid up and couldn't take delivery personally.. but hey the main thingis she is now sitting in the garage, waiting for a nice long drive tomorrow.

Lella is finally home!

I picked up the georgeous Chili Red/White top MCS today at 1:00 at MORITZ. She is everything I hoped and more. Handles like a dream; no squeaks, or rattles, and the (new) transmission shifts like a hot knife through butter.

The HK stereo rocks, and I really like the magnesium door casings. They lighten up an otherwise too dark interior with the black leather.

Today was 70 deg and sunny in north Texas, so I even got to verify the auto AC works.

I'll post pics when I figure out how to do that, and I'll vote another 5 stars for MORITZ; they were great.

Barky, you and all the January clubbers are great too. You've helped keep me sane. For you guys still waiting, hang in there, MINI's are worth the wait.

Wait there was something I was supposed to say.... oh yea
