Glad you are back.....

I could not believe it either...I was sure I would not see Tigger until the 14th.

I really love my MINI...my wife is greatful and loves it also...She does not have to hear me complain anymore. She gets to listen to me telling her about all the things I want. Just showed her the new CVT billet Pedals from R-Speed. They do not have them yet but Iam ready to buy them....they will let me know when they get them. They are just like the one's for the Cooper but the brake cover is the right size. I have already ordered the light shields and am going to look at 3-M Invisi-Shield for the front end......so much stuff, so much money.....

It really means a lot when the spouse/significant other acknowledges how much they like the MINI. My hubby likes to give me a hard time about Agent Cooper (all in good fun, though), but earlier tonight he told me how much he really likes it and how fun it is to drive. :smile:

Man. I can't believe there are only three left in the club ---- arrrrgh ----I want so much to be out of this stinkin' club [no offense intended].

It's bad. The wait happens to fall at a period of [ahem] unemployment. This pretty much means I search Monster.com, I come here, I go to Monster, come here, check Owner's Lounge, decide when would be the best time to call ASK-MINI, search Monster.com, come back here. I'm in a feedback loop -- please MINI, come soon!

Here I am, I have a MINI!!! I took delivery two days ago (Feb 3rd) and it has been great. My co-workers are very supportive and even let me off a little early so I could go pick up my baby. Though we had snow the day before it had cleared off the roads mainly by the time I got to the dealer. The tour was great and I loved the unveiling of "Cayenne". We went out to dinner after to celebrate.

I love this car and I am not a car lovin' female. The first day at work with her I parked her outside so I could watch her out the front door and show her off. We have a guard at work who gives me daily MINI reports so that I can be sure that no one is dinging or bothering my car! :smile: I'm not sure how to take that since I've loved having this venue to share.

 

Pictures are now available of the the latest MINI in the Rocky Mountain area. They are listed under Cayenne1 and Cayenne2 in the member gallery, I think it is page 147.

It's about a 50 mile round trip to work x 5 days, so it's 250 a week, plus motoring like crazy, with 1080 on Mimi, I think I feel her loosening up more. getting more fun as I know more about her and how to drive her. Found I have one of those 2 piece coolant tanks, all fluid leaked out in a week. Also, the two windsheild washer jet housings turned white, with splotches of black....wierd.

Now I have two warranty items, not too bad, I'd read worse on MCO, feel pretty lucky so far.

Hope all is well with the BRG et.al.

 

I feel like a real slow poke with snow and work cutting into my time I just now only have over 100 miles on Cayenne. (Thanks for the compliment on the name, My husband thought of it and I loved it, thought it was very fitting). Hopefully next weekend we will be getting out of town for some serious motoring since I have it off for a change. Great to hear from you all.

 

I spoke with my salesman today and looks like my MINI will be delivered to the dealership tomorrow. I should be able to pick it up Thursday or Friday. If it's not ready Thursday I'll have to wait until next week because I'm driving to NYC this weekend.

Oh. The delay had to do with replacing the fuel door.

Keep your fingers crossed for Thursday!

That is great BINX, finally...... Let's hope you can get your MINI before you leave for NYC, that way you could take your MINI and get the break in started.

Still. My MINI didn't arrive on the 11th, or today. Current bets are on Pez arriving tomorrow. They'll install the Borla, roof rack and stripes on Friday and I'll be able to take delivery on Monday the 17th. I don't even know if I should cross my fingers...

Just wanted to post my 200th here in the Club I belong to......

 

Has anybody ever had their status on the Wallenius web site go from "Booked" to "Returned to Shipper"? If so, what was the reason?
