Order placed, Thanks everyone!!
Well after first seeing the new MINI at the NY Auto Show in April of 2001, I finally placed my order. I have been lurking on this site forever and obtained a lot of great info. Just got back from Prestige Mini and ordered the following:
Hyper Blue / Black, Premium Pack, Cold weather pack, anthracite dash and headliner, chrome line interior and exterior, front and rear fogs, DSC, LSD, Xenons and black leather.
Now if I can just get thru the next four months until it is delivered.

Woohoo Fidge, sounds awesome, congratulations! 
Have you checked out newyorkmini.org? Lots of help here and there to get you through the next four months. Plus, you can find some great activities in which to participate. You don't even have to wait for your MINI to arrive to show up at some of the holiday happenings!

Welcome to NAM, Fidge! Love your specs! You'll get through those four months by hanging out here at NAM and at the NY MINI sites, too! We've been through the waiting time and know very well how you are feeling!

Fidge, are U getting it from Prestige Mini in mahawa NJ, I just got mine about 2 weeks ago from ther and I love it !!! I am also a SUV owner, but the MINI is beeting the SUV in which auto I like. You will be very happy with the MINI
