Folks,

2004 MCS. I have DRL enabled, and it has been working normally for a while now. Recently I noticed that the driver side DRL light isn't lighting up. The high beam works just fine, but the DRL (which I know is a dimmed high beam) isn't working. Any thoughts?

Thats weird, never seen that. All i can think off is that maybe a bad wire or element and when on high output the filiment makes contact? Like a loose filiment

On a somewhat unrelated note - for about a month in my 2005 S, I had to turn on the drivers side seat warmer to get the H/K stereo to come on... once it came on, the seat warmer would turn off. My 2004 Justa has had a myriad of electrical issues... the alarm goes off for no reason is the most common one. No leaks in any of the wires to let the wire smoke out... the only "fluid" I haven't had to change.

 

All i can think of is the BCM got wet from a leak or drain coming loose in the sunroof or is going bad?
