Hey guys I had my car parked in a turn around on campus today and a half an hour later I had an injured rear left leg. I get out there with my girlfriend and there was a girl's phone number, she thought that someone was trying to pick me up:impatient...I guess minis do that...well a while later and we figured out that it was because she had hit my rear bumper. I think that it will not be too bad. I think all that needs to be replaced is the whole rear bumper, and a few pieces underneath.

I am hoping for the best. I will keep you all updated. And on Thursday I am(supposed) to be getting my windows tinted(finally).

 

My crystal ball of prediction says it will cost about $800 or more to repair and paint. Good as new.

 

I had to replace the rear bumper and a piece underneath. Cost: $1500. This was an R56 MCS.

 

It was commendable that the girl left you a note - many people would have just hit and run. Good luck with the repairs.

 

Just don't mix up that note with ... the other notes left by young girls.

The $800-900 quote was for an R53 rear bumper and stuffings.

I forgot about it being an R56. Ouch.

 

Hey thanks to all of you. My car is a R53(2004 S). And yes, I was extremely pleased that she left her number because most people would just run away and hope they never got caught.

 

Ok, so the damage is going to be about $800.00. Not bad, but I hate seeing him suffer.

 

$800 is good. Could be worse. Seems like not that much damage but it is.
It's similar to other European imports in the same price range.

I think you're doing "most" of the suffering.
