Not sure. Going to be driving Sebring, pbir, and homestead. I’m an advanced driver just looking to change platforms. I’m used my Sti and r comps. I figure with the street tires and light weight I may be able to get away without a bbk
I have done it on R56 S fronts aka r53 jcw. rotors will be consumable the only pads I could get to work for me were DTC-60 get ready for dust and it's fun bedding them in at night definitely run some ducts they get smoking hot mine were well over 1000 degree rotor temps I've been using re71, rs3, rs4 and takeoff SM7's.
Rotors only last 3-4 weekends and they crack but centric premium are under 40 $ each so it's a cheap wear item just watch the crazing like a hawk, they eventually connect the dots and crack out to the edge
I run wilwood dynalites now, with 7816 pad size and st43 pads, the only thing wilwoods give me is longer rotor/pad life due to better venting in the hub, and easy pad change.
they stop the car the same as the r56 setup does, I have never had a brake failure on the track with either setup
this is what the stock rotors will do, they craze right away but eventually it connects up I felt this in the pedal, sometimes it'll run right to the outside
I run 15" wheels and they trap heat more than my 17" setup

those r56 are a 4 piston design. Much beefier than the single piston sliding caliper that is the standard. My concern is pedal feel, stopping power, and Heat. I know I’ll need ducting to the brakes but even with I don’t know if the single piston and smaller rotors and pads will handle the heat
no they are single piston. The R53 S fronts are a smaller pad/rotor. first upgrade should be to the single piston R53 JCW, or the R56S fronts. they use a bigger rotor and better pad sweep, Same pad/rotor for both. You can upgrade via autozone rebuilt r56 S calipers & brackets for under 120 $ just turn in the R53S calipers/brackets as your core. You will need to pickup R56 front brake lines, the connector is different I got stainless from ECS.
pedal feel & torque were fine for me, with dtc60 you can abs any time you want In fact the pedal feels the same with my wilwood I've always liked the R53 brake system, the abs module is really good too
Some people upgrade the bushings, I did not find I needed to

oh, don’t know what Jcw kit I was looking at. Thanks for the help
