The center spoiler section has two holes in each end for mounting to the uprights. The uprights have three holes so you can adjust the angle of the spoiler. The small fins covering the screws on the outside of the uprights are optional. You can see the unpainted screws in this pic. The small dust looking speck under the front screw is the third hole to change the angle.

I don't have a clear pic, but I found this on the web. It has several pics and I think this pic with the parts laid out shows the bottom of the wing.
Here's the link to the thread. It looks like the center section is actually mounted upside down in the after install pics.

You can probably modify it to work with the Fubrication, or just buy the Fubrication carbon version, but that blade won't work on a Fubrication as is, unless it also has threaded inserts in the ends, too.
There was a carbon fubrication for sale not too long ago for about $600 on the forum. They also did a short run last year on regular and carbon versions and have another run going on indiegogo. Try contacting Terry at Fubrication and find out if any extras were made or if they'll do the carbon version again for this run.

I'm going over my options for the Orranje GP wing/spoiler and it's my understanding that:
1) The S spoiler that I have is going to have to come off. ( two bolts and youtube videos )
2) I can get the non S spoiler from the r53 or r56---- OEM MINI spoiler to go with G-wing (non S spoiler #51622753757) I'm up for this route but it would involve paint and I almost like it better without a spoiler.
3) I can go without a spoiler but I'll need to cover the holes.
So I looked up fins on Amazon and they all suck. Way to big and ugly.
RB-MINI I found this picture... and I think it's yours? Any info on where you got the little fins???
Anything else I'm not thinking of?

Yep, that’s my wing. As posted above, the small fins are the factory covers for the JCW wing and are NLA. A few other options you can go with are:
- A factory spoiler that could work with a GP wing, the non-S spoiler and I think the aero spoiler also works.
- A non-S hatch with no holes, or have your holes plugged and painted.
- An aftermarket spoiler delete panel like the FUbrication. Unfortunately, that is also NLA.
- Sticker type covers. Some are available from Orranje in the UK in black and white which are just round or oval rubberized domed decals.
- 3D printed JCW replica fins or some similar design.

Hi @bump32 to answer your question about anything you’re not thinking of. Quite a bit of clean up. Once you’ve removed the two bolts it takes some effort to get the spoiler off as its
stuck on with adhesive. I recently removed mine (detailed in my car’s thread) I didn’t have to paint for my project - but I wouldn’t fear paint in your case. If I was in your situation I’d fill the holes and paint the area that was previously covered by the S spoiler. It’s a perfect single panel for painting that doesn’t join up with other parts of the car - therefore easy to mask off and contain paint to that area.
You could use fishing wire to help remove the spoiler. Just have some goo-gone, handy!
It’ll clean up nicely with some effort. Just anticipate an hour or so of elbow grease.

Thanks for the extra info. Yeah I watched a YouTube video M7 put out for their wing instal. Guy used wire??? Probably scratched the paint. I'm going with fishing line for sure. I'm hoping my paint is in good shape. I still don't have a plan for the fins?????? hmmmm
I took a screenshot off the video so I can see where the adhesive is.

So I'm back on this project...
Some questions regarding the base (non sport spoiler). on an r53 with the Orange G-wing.
1) Does the base spoiler people are using with the G-wing block the rear brake light in the r53? Does it only work on the R56?
2) I found part numbers 51622753757 and 51622753756?. Is this the same part? One primed and the other painted?
3) Does it look like the picture on the back side or is this a different spoiler? If so I probably doesn't work on the r53?

I don’t think the spoiler pictured above will work on an R50 or R53 without a lot of modification. The 1st gen spoilers mount on top of the exterior body panel of the hatch while the R56 spoiler is the the exterior body panel that bolts to the hatch structure.
You can see what I mean in the 4th pic of this DIY article from Pelican: https://www.pelicanparts.com/techart...eplacement.htm
This post has info on a lower profile spoiler for the 1st gen if you don’t want to cover the holes with the factory JCW fins, G wing domed decals, or fill them by welding + bodywork: https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...king-info.html

RB-MINI. Thank you for the info, makes way more sense now. Somehow I got confused with the G-wing fitting the R56 also that the rear spoilers were also interchangeable.
Side note for those looking for a more cost effective wing. Orrange is making a G-wing Lite now.
