I'd like to convert my gauge, vent, and ebrake trims from silver to chrome. The OEM trims are very expensive and would end up costing me over $200 just for those 5 pieces. Way offers chrome trim covers that slip over the existing trims for the speedo and vents for much less $$. Has anyone used these? Do they completely seal around the old trim? I just don't to be able to see the old trim.
I only want the gauge, ebrake, and vent trims. Those are stick-on anyway and it sounds like they won't cover properly. That kit also doesn't include the ebrake trim.
Got some pics? That's really all I needed to hear, just want some visual proof
Sure do
Edit: get the tach replacement to match if you can, that one will require a replacement piece or it will be visible. I just bought a used tach that had chrome already to make it easier.

Yeah that does look good, thanks. I'm pretty much doing the same style as what you're doing; everything anthracite except the gauges and vents.
