Harmini,
I guess my MINI missed the boat. I tried checking on the WW site and nuthin!! Darn! I'm about 20 minutes from Baltimore!! UGH. I guess I'll hafta call ASK MINI and see if they can give me any info. The owners lounge still says I'm in production.

I have a new site. You can go to the Farty Index (you'll see) and actually get a picture of the ship. I could not find the Trianon but I did find the Faust (This one is mine) and the Don Juan. I do not know any other active ships out there right now.
On another post about ship tracking, there appears to be some way to actually locate map coordinates for the ships. I would assume that this would be from daily ship reports. Does anyone know how this is done?

BTW I am loaded and on the Water.

Finally!! It's few days late (very, very long days), but I just called MINI and my MCS is finally done with production! Can't wait to find out what ship it's on. I feel so much closer to my baby now that I'm in the third trimester!

Boy I remember those days. From production to the ship took about 4 days for me. Then 11 days to cross that big ol'lake the Atlantic. Then 5 days at the VPC and 3 days to Florida. So add it up and that's about what it will take give or take a few days. The wait is almost over. And the best has yet to come. Man I remeber those days, it seems like yesterday.

I'm just glad that I'm here in good ol' NY! The time it takes to get my baby from after it gets across the Atlantic should be pretty minimal.

Well, the Trianon is not set to land here on the west coast until 12-17, which is a Tuesday. Christmas is the following Wednesday. This is gonna be close, but I am not going to hold my breath. I'm ready to wait for an early January '03 delivery, but hopefully I won't have to! I do think that it is gonna be close

Bringing up the rear here in the December Club...

My call to Ask MINi today revealed that my MINI has finally been released to carrier and is awaiting transport to the docks at Southampton. I wish things could just move along a little more quickly here! I'm guessing (hoping?) that mine will be on the Isolde which is the next ship bound for Charleston, scheduled to leave 12/3/02 and arrive on our shores 12/13/02. My fingers are still crossed that she will find her way to the dealer in time for a Christmas Eve delivery. Good luck to the rest of you as well!

so, what does one do when there is nothing really to track? I've checked the boats position, which is about 100 further west than it was yesterday. I don't think it would do any good to call, because they'll just tell me that it's in the middle of the Atlantic. I've gone through my Moss MINI catalog and now it's all marked up so I know what I will be ordering. ho hum...oh, wait, spongebob is on! I think another 'test drive' might be in order next week!!!

DB? Could you kindly direct us to the site that gives the ship's position at sea? Maybe you could add it to your Handy Links?

<<edit>> I found this info on another post. Thanks to cgehring for taking the time to post all of the links to track your baby whilst out at sea.

Hello All,

Was in the November club - looks like I'll be in yours for a couple of days! I sailed the Aida. My MINI has been through the VPC and is ready to be trucked to INDY. No work today so it looks like I'll be in at the top of the week.
In anticipation,

GROSS67

Welcome to the club gross67. Looks like you'll be the last one to join and the first one to "quit this stinkin club". Great color choice. You don't see to many VR MC's out there. Post pics as soon as you can, just to keep the rest of us in the DEC club happy while we count the days.

MAKE WAY!! MAKE WAY!!

Another November Club reject needs room to camp out for a while.

I was so hoping for Saturday, but I just don't see it happening any more.

Please grant access to a poor MINI wannabe.

Welcome to the December club Lolo. I welcome any Novemberites. You all have more experience with the waiting process. Help us keep our sanity and post pics as soon as you take delivery.

Well. I had hi hopes of being an alumni of the "can't wait for November club", but it looks like my ship doesn't come in (pun intended) until tomorrow and then another week or two for my Lil' MCS makes it's way to Arizona. I keep having dreams about the car so I hope it gets here soon. I only hope it is as much fun as the dreams.

I think I'm supposed to be the first in AZ and maybe the west coast to have a Liquid Yellow MCS, with the Lapis interior. I'll post pictures when it gets here.

I hope you will all accept me with open arms.

Best regards,

Jason
