It would appear that I'm one of the last ones to get out. Roxy was supposed to hit the paint shop today, assembly tomorrow, hopefully on a boat home next week!
And, it looks like our founder, SoopaCoopa, might not be in our club! I'm glad to see him go so much earlier than expected! Soop...hope yours comes in this month, that's all good right there! :smile: :smile:

As some of the November Club members are vacating the building, we welcome SoopaCoopa with open hoods and revving engines.

I just checked the cargo shipping website. Nigel is on the Figaro, departing Southampton on the 17th and due in Charleston on the 28th of November. Anyone else with an 11/15-ish build on this ship?

I'm not sure, but I do believe that Roxy was built today! I'm going to call Thursday to get an update. I'm hoping to on one of the ships next week. I've checked the shippers site, but apparently they have to yet to meet her.

I looks like the AIDA is delayed a day, but I might still have my MCS by thanksgiving!
I do have to say that I'm a bit disappointed with the OL tracking. I understand a little bit of lag between the factory and the web site, but my MINI has been on the boat for 5 days now, and the OL still lists it as "Awaiting Transport".
Thankfully W&W's site it more up to date!

Ok so what Am I doing wrong at the W&W site.
Track Car by cargo Id ( Is this the Vin#?) When I put the Vin# In it says no record of cargo. Hmmm I know I must be doing something wrong.

The above link is to the W&W tracking website. W&W is the cargo shipping company that transports new MINIs across the pond. So once your MINI has been built, and taken to the port in Southampton, you can track it on W&W's system. This will give you a good estimate of when your MINI will arrive in the States.
When you get to the W&W page, choose "Auto", and then enter the last 7 digits of your VIN# (available at the Owner's Lounge).

Wow! My baby is on her way! Apparently she was loaded on the 7th! Due to arrive in CA. on the 1st of Dec! Then I guess it's by truck to oregon, however long that takes, + inspection and all.

I just goto off the phone with Ask MINI and found ou that my car is now at status 150!!... she has just started production. Looks like she should definitely be done by my estimated production date of 11/22. I hope that I will still be able to take delivery before Christmas... I'm on the east coast so that seems reasonable to me...

I just found out that my MINI is on the way!!! I was actually kinda skeptical because I have been reading the posts some of you have placed that the order was placed on 10/02 and having a production date of 11/22. I ordered my pepper white beauty on October 28th and it has been built and now its on the TRITON heading over. Hopefully, I will get it early december. And the weird thing I still have a satus code for being in production. The best way to find out is call ASK MINI. They have the best info and its the latest!
Good luck on all those December MINIs and their parents too!!!

Well i called BMW Canada(we have no 800 ask mini here)..mine was being built in week 46..which ended on the 15 nov. I have had my vin and prduction number for a couple weeks.I still see no shipping info as yet...My last 7 of my vin# are TD61730.
its is a MCS..anyone else with a Vin# close to that one. I know mine will be getting off the ship in Halifax(canuck mini's have only one port to arrive at, so i am told).
But of course i ma on the other side of the country...wonder how long that will take to truck/train to Vancouver

I placed an order for my MC on September 3rd, It seems the little rascal is on his way home. :smile: Owners lounge now says EN ROUTE, i never thought I would live to see the day. im so glad! YEH!!!

:smile: dbwilldo, yup i have looked at the shipping site and tried the number there..alas..nothing yet..but i have been putting in numbes from cars for sale on ebay to see what kinda shcedule they had from shipping to port of delivery, i know sounds kinda strange..but it does work you can look at the tracking of other cars that have already made it here..and then see what kinda time it take...well looks like anthing that comes to Halifax(canada's only port) take only 7-9 days on the boat.....but other than that ,,i am not sure how long it take it to ship it across country to where i am picking it up at..
