bummer just got off the phone with mini and my car is still in vdc and not on a truck yet. off the boat on the 1st and now the 12th so they think maybe the 18th or 19th. can't believe it takes this long to get the car to a dealer. so i have the money burning a whole in my pocket and no mini to spend it on. hope i dont get moved to the january club.

Mine is still on the boat, scheduled to land at Port on Tuesday. But, now there is a 'big storm' (here in CA, that means heavy fog/mist) and I'm hoping that it doesn't slow down the boat. I'm still hopeful for a pre-xmas delivery. Anyone else due to land next week?

Goodbye all. It's been fun, but let me be the latest to say farewell. I took delivery of LIL'BUD last night and I haven't stopped smiling since. I've gone on enough errands to cover me for the next year. Peoples response to this car is amazing. There are a lot of really nice cars in my area...Porsches and Mercs are a dime a dozen, but everyone seems to break their necks to get a look at my little MINI. My fifteen minutes of fame. I'll post picture when I get back from vacation.
Believe me when I tell you that it's worth the wait. It's been 14 months for me and all is forgotten. You can quote me when I say that, "it's not the nicest car I have ever owned, but I can almost guarantee it will be my favorite".

Just got my estimated delivery date -- 12/20!! Very excited to bring Blanche home with me for the holidays (my family has no idea about her)!!

WOOOO HOOOO!!!! I finally got my pepper white mini last night. MINIChristina suprised me and had it cleaned for my pick up at 6:30 last night. Been driving and I LOVE IT... SO i guess it is my turn to say that I am outta this stinking club. BYE!!

Leaving in droves now! I am finding it more and more difficult to complete the wait. only another week and change left hopefully.
Now, I've encountered a problem. I can't seem to find the position of the Trianon. actually, the accuweather site hasn't been able to track it's weather station since she hit the east coast, and hasn't been able to since (been more than a week). Anyone else, west coast, notice this, or am I just being too neurotic? ::insert image of crazy face here::

Momentum here. Tomorrow is the big day. Yes i am probably the last one to get their mini from The Don Juan but its OK . Took the day off tomorrow and dealer said to come in at 4pm. Apparently since last week they have delivered alot of minis to people. Any one out there that just picked up Mini at Westchester MINI in the last few days?? Yep Ive placed my order Aug 1 and now its 4 and 1/2 months later I get it . Wish me luck guys!!!

It took 2 weeks for my MCS to arrive in Toronto from Halifax. I can't imagine how long it takes for the trip to Alberta. Maybe they can give you a loaner in the meantime. Oh - you don't have a local dealer, do you?
It's on it's way, at least you know that. Call Claude at BMW Customer Service in Whitby, Ontario. He's pretty helpful, and will do his best to track down your vehicle. He sure helped me out when my car went AWOL a couple of times. They even lost her in their own compound once she arrived in Toronto - after the 2 week train ride.

billyg...if it makes you feel any better, mine has been on the boat since 11-12 and isn't even scheduled to disembark until 12-17, after that still at least a week from the vpc to my dealer. It's almost like a race. Which is a longer delivery? SoCal or Alberta? hmmm

Congratulations to the December Club! They surpassed the "November Challenge" (5,000+ page views) and have had more than 6,000 page views of their Club thread.
The January Club has accepted the challenge and is aiming for 7,000. That means 8,000 for February and 9,000 for March.
This is all achievable as the MCO membership continues to rise, as do the number of MINIs on order.
Let's help these guys out, all past Club members, and MINI owners. Check out their threads, read the posts and offer words of advice and encouragement to make their wait (somewhat) more tolerable.

I'm OUTTA HERE actually have been since friday but I had to drive 1000 miles fri night heheeheh.... she is beautifull hand handles like a dream!!! omg its sooo much fun and sooo worth the 9month wait I had. Off to work at my new job woo hoo new car new job new city such fun!!!

Took delivery of my DS MCS on Saturday. Great Experience and I now have the permenant
Anyway, I hope the rest of my December Club Members take delivery soon. Anyone in the Northern VA area be sure to give a Mini wink when passing by!!!!

Hi billyg
I went to the dealer after calling to make sure my car was ready. Got a lift across the bridge . When I got there it wasnt ready after all. No one fixed the wheels. The dealer ordered white and they were suposed to be alloy/ silver . It was too late in the day to fix them so guess ill have to wait till Friday to drive my baby home. I'm not mad cause it was dark and weather isnt so good tonight to drive the car home. My sales lady let me visit it. I ordered the silver dash cause I wanted a contrast and I really liked it. Another cool thing thing she showed me is that you can press the key and the roof and windows open if ya want.
Anyway dont worry youll get it I'm sure before Xmas
