Well, that's it!

Overnight, Dec. 7 we passed the 5000 page view mark! A record of some sort.

When our last member ROARS out the door of the November Clubhouse in his/her MINI we can hold our heads high enough to stick out of our Panorama Sunroofs! Thanks to all the non-Club member visitors who came by to check us out.

The December Club is going gangbusters, and I'm sure January and the still muddling February Club will do us proud.

The "Can't Wait" club tradition is alive and well at MCO! May it serve you all well.

Someday all of you will be able to yell that famous phrase: "I'M OUT OF THIS STINKIN' CLUB"!

Hey Moe, our MINIs made their way to the VDC yesterday 12/6. The VDC does work on weekends, so it should be a Monday or Tuesday delivery for us!!!! My dealer is Princeton MINI and they're gonna do everything they can to get me my HARMINI in time for my birthday on Tuesday. Fingers crossed and praying hard.

In NY you get 8 whole characters to play with on the vanity plate. NJ is still 7. MINIMOE is a good one. If you know a NY cop, you could have them "run" the plate# that you have in mind to see if it exists before you order it.

Let's hope that Westchester MINI can do a rim swap quickly and prep that baby on Monday so you can be motoring by Tuesday, too. Oh, this is gonna be the longest weekend of my life!!

 

Mine was on the Figaro. it arrived in S. Carolina 12/1/02 and was at the dealer Friday 12/6/02. I'll pick it up monday after the R90's are mounted and I get over covering my wife's 40'th B-Day. I have to pretend like it's her big day and not mine. I can wait unit Monday.
I'm out of the club ... and motoring. :smile:

I'll be holding down the fort with you dbwilldo. I'm hoping for delivery about the same time as you, barring any unforseen holdups at the VPC.

 

what a relief! didn't want to get stuck here in the club house by myself at the end of the month. The worst part is that there are some members of the club who will get theirs before mine, and they were built after mine. I'm being penalized for living in SoCal!

 

I think I might be closing the door on this club, or opening the January one. If everything goes right I will be getting mine on Dec 28th. It was due on the west coast today (Dec 7th) but the OTELLO has been delayed until atleast the 12th. Then they say at least 10-14 days to get to Utah.

Mine hit Southern California on 12/1. Unfortunately I live in No. Cal so it takes longer for the dealers up here to get the cars. Tentative delivery date is 12/10 but I think it going to be closer to 12/14. At least I'll get it before Christmas.

Hopefully I will only have to be jealous for a couple of days more. Enjoy Alfie for those of us waiting for our just rewards.

 

Blanche just made it onto the Aida today (12/9), arriving in NY on the 18th. I'm in Boston, so my fingers are crossed that she'll be with me for Xmas, if not by the end of the month.

Until now, I've been a card-carrying member of the January club -- think I might qualify to join your merry band? :smile:

 

With all the December club members quitting, we have plenty of room for you, MotorinGirl.

 

Winnie should arive at the dealer on the 16th.. so may be I'll driver her to the LOTR TT!?

Hey Everybody! (Hi doctor Nick!)

Sorry I've been MIA this last week, but I've been busy MOTORING! I took a great drive up the shore of Lake Michigan on Sunday. Carved up some twisties, saw the B'Hai temple, and met a Hummer.

I can't get this grin off of my face. I hope that all of your MINIs arrive soon, so you can experience the fun!
