Ah, Barky, you caught me trying to jump the fence to December!

Looks like I'll hanging out in both clubs for a while, until I know for sure when Blanche is arriving -- as long as that's not against the can't-wait-for club rules!

Congrats Xeon!

I wish I was taking delivery so soon. Just checked the shippers site, and Roxy isn't even going to land now until Tues. 17th. That's kinda tight for a pre-XMAS delivery, but I'll keep my fingers crossed.

My estimated pickup date is the 17th or 18th...the JINGU MARU has left Canada and is on its way over to the good ol' USA. Hopefully, I'll have a quick and painless visit to the VDC and I'll finally leave this club!!!

HI DB
I spoke with Irvine mini about VPC to the dealer. They said about 2 weeks average. Could be tight to Santa Ana for Christmas, but before new years is a real possibility for you!!

Now that's not what I want to hear. 2 weeks! ugh! do they have to push the truck down from oxnard, or do they use burro trains? oh well, I've gone this long already, what's another week, right? I'll get over it.

thanx for the info jb!

Well,,,my time has finally arrived. Today is offically my day out of this stinkin club! Picked up Ms Kensington this afternoon and after about 15mi of unadultered pure joy the oil light came on steady. Can't seem to detect any leaking oil but it's a service call for my Mini tommorrow morning. I have to say it was grueling but worth the 3 month wait I wouldn't change a thing. Chin up fellow Decemberites your Mini cometh!

Ms Kensington 03 MCS PS/PS.....Oh Behave!

Wow, sorry to hear that. I'm guessing the wire fell off the oil pressure sensor and you'll be back up and running in no time. Let us know.
Charlotte's begun commuting in hers and the miles are piling up, about 500 so far and no problems.
She's having a lot of fun, motoring back roads to work.
It was definitely worth the grueling wait as everyone still in this club will surely find out.

I'm outta dis stinkin club!! I picked up HARMINI yesterday. It only took one day at the VPC. I was able to take delivery the very next day. I guess living in NJ does have a its perks. Once it finally reached production, things went fast (although the wait became even more unbearable).

Ordered 9/21/02
Final production 11/20/02
Loaded onto the Don Juan 11/24/02
Arrived at Port Jersey 12/04/02
Transport to VPC delayed by the snow
Arrived at the VPC 12/09/02
Arrived at Princeton MINI 12/10/02
Delivered that same day, just in time for my birthday!!!

Goofygrape: oh just wait till you see how incredibly beautiful the Silk Green is!!! At night it takes on a deeper cast to the green, today, outside in the rain, it looks silvery-green. Let's hope that the VPC gets Winnie out of there today. Fingers crossed for you my west coast twin.

Thanks you are so sweet!
Believe it or not I still haven't seen a Silk Green in person. Your discriptions are just what I've imagined. I'm glad that even though you are out of the club you came back to check the messages.(happy birthday again!

Wow - you Decemberites are sure making a hasty exit from your stinkin' Clubhouse. Those of us who left the November Clubhouse (in a shambles, I might add) put up with way more delays than you guys. It's still only the 12th of Dec. and a lot of you have left the Club.

Congratulations to the new MINI moms and dads! To those still in the Club, keep hangin' out here where you' ve got sympathetic eyes and ears.

Santa promises to bring all December MINIs by Xmas. You heard it here first!

Congrats and much enjoyment, Harmini.
Maybe we'll see you on the road when we head down to Madison, N.J., next week to pick our daughter up from school.

Hey DB
Even though you don't want to spend even a day in the January club, you are more than welcome. Especially considering you are getting a BRG!

This is Momentum. How long does it take a car to get from NJ to NY-westchester??
I was told by my dealer they havent heard anything yet and the car was still at the distribution center. Anybody out there from the the Don Juan. I thought the ship docked a week ago. Whats going on?? I bet the people in California get theirs before me.
I know ----quit complaining.
I hope it comes by X-mas .

Congrats, beaugeste93!

I know that the break-in restrictions seem like a tall order, but there is a lot more fun to be had below 4500rpm than I expected. However, I still can't wait to turn it loose all the way to redline

Sorry, can't help ya there...

I highly doubt that. Mine left Southhamton on the Trianon on 11/12 and not due to land until 12/17! that's more than a month on the boat, then I hear it can be up to 2 weeks before delivery (and my dealer is only about a 3 hour drive from the VPC)

>>I know ----quit complaining.
Yea, but it feels better now that you have, huh?
db

and congrats beaugeste93!!! motor on!
