How to make your Magnaflow louder in 10 seconds.

Open the hatch and drop the seats. I was carrying one of our creepers (bonecreeper.com, shameless plug) to test some wheels at our molder on thursday... and its a bit too long to fit in the back, so I had to run with the hatch open... that Magnaflow is deafeningly loud at that close of quarters at load.

Might be a good way to do a different Exhaust Shootout (Ryan, Chad & Greatbear) at the '05 Dragon... this time having the car under load. If people are brave enough to hang out the back, heh.

Just an idea. If it weren't for the exhaust fumes getting sucked in, I'd drive like that more often.

Here is another way to make things louder from the exhaust.

Remove the rear seat bottom pad.
On each side at the corners are the bolts that attach the rear seat belts.
Take each one out and that will reveal a hole that goes through to the outside of the undercarriage. If left open they allow lots of noise in.

I had removed the bolts to install the rear seat belt attachment for Schroth harnesses and I drove with the bolts out. Very loud.

Not recommended.

By removing the interior how much weight did you loose?
Did you pull out the rear window wiper too?
Loose the AC and the stereo?
Be uncivilized

The audio nuts are the opposite-
adding sound deadening material for reduced vibration and minimizing noise.
It's pretty heavy if you do it right.

The Magnaflow on my 525it is pretty loud, too. It has a drone from 1k to 2k then it gets a little better. Liveable, but not sure about what passengers think.
