need some quick help... cant find that nice thread on injectors that tells us which other injectors we can get.

specifically im looking at 450s; i know we can use injectors from a few other cars, and that there was a thread on it in here somewhere... thought i had marked it, but didnt, and cant find the dang thing anymore!

so, either a link to the thread, or part #s, or injector type to search for would be much help! thanks!!!

anyone have any ideas on "non-vendor" "overpriced" "rebranded" injectors? part numbers or otherwise? lol

 

i do believe the 550's come from mustangs

 

should i shop for 550s over 450s? is one cheaper or easier to find?... so many damn options, so little verified info!

 

i got mine from bytetronic, there prices is preety reasonable, im looking for the website that had a bunch of injectors for sale. i cant find the site, but injecotrs ussually run $70 a piece unless you want to risk the ebay

wow. 70 a pop eh... guh.
this is the ONE thing i WONT go with the ebay for! lol. no need to cheap out on whats shooting gas into the engine right!

if you come across that site, pls link or PM me. no real rush on this, i usually plan shopping months and months ahead of time. leaves lots of time for research and getting the best price!

and, according to the thread link posted in this thread, the Ford GT500 has the same injector "type" as the mini, in the 550cc range.

hard to beat $40 a pop!... im really tempted to buy these, but still need confirmation they will "work". more research!... anyone confirm or deny these things worky? anyone have them installed?! (specifically the Ford GT version)

ha. those have the same PN as the ebay ones! they ARE GT500 injectors!

 

good i was correct in saying that they were from a mustang, you do need the pigtail connecters tho
