I played earlier today (an 84, still cant seem to break into the 70s) and I got to thinking. How the hell am I gonna fit my golf bag into the Mini? Do you have to fold down the back seats, and the front passenger seat?

My golf bag fits in the back no problem, and I don't even put the seats down.

Then again, I play DISC golf.

Do you have a "toaster-on-a-stick" driver? If not just drop the rear seat and the bag will go right in. If you have a 580cc on a 46" shaft, just pull the driver or drop both seats backs and angle it in.

I use a carry bag and don't have much problem, except with the occasional snap hook. I used to play 6 days a week back in school, but rarely get out more then once a month now.

I'm still in college , so I was able to schedule classes on only 2 days. I play twice a week, and sometimes on sundays with my dad. LOL, I dont have a huge driver...I have a Great Big Bertha...one of the older ones. Its good to hear that I dont have to fold that front seat down though...as hard as it is to drag my girlfriend out to the course every couple weeks, I have a feeling it would be a tad tougher if I had to tell her, "Listen honey...I cant exactly fit my clubs in my new car. So...you kinda have to ride on the roof. But dont worry, I brought a bungee."

What I do is put my MINI in my truck, the golf bag in the back seat of the truck and off I go......
Also, I bet you're just bragging about your score to make the weenies here feel bad.......I haven't SMELLED a low ninety since I moved to the Land of Cleves....cant be me....must be the air here, or possibly the grass.....suddenly I suck at golf......I won't say I play....I attempt to play......which is different.....my double toaster on a stick don't help either.......

LOL, dont worry, my dad usually hits about a hundred too. Ive just been practicing a lot recently. I got fired about a month ago (I was a bartender) after I caught my boss stealing my tips, and I called him out on it. So Ive had absolutly NOTHING to do but go to classes and golf.

You and Arnold Palmer seem to have the same problem with your score.

If you don't carry any 'woods' the clubs will fit in the boot fine, you just have to be creative with your game. Otherwise, you will need to fold the seat down.

Ha ha, did you watch his last round yesterday? That was pretty kool, the man's a legend. Thats such good news that the bag will fit in the boot without putting the seats down. I dont mind taking the woods out of the bag as long as it fits!

Man, it was like 98 degrees out today! It was a scorcher, and I got all sunburned.

The unauthorized owners manual on the MINI USA owner's site shows you how to fit the golf bags. You can get up to 4 in there!

I think there are a few Hawaii NAM members that golf like Erik808 but I am not sure who else.
There are just too many things to do here (not that golf isn't one of them).

Personally I am banned from twisting sports so I have an excuse to stick to autocross.

Yes, Clo, I did attend the Masters this weekend. My Bro-in-Law became a member this year so I had the once in a lifetime (hopefully not only this once!) opportunity to attend the event as a guest of an honest to goodness green-jacket-wearing member.

Great fun to be able to go anywhere and everywhere on the property.

At the end of the day, we moved off the course and into the club-house to relax away from the crowds at the 18th and watch the end of the tournament on the closed circuit TV's since you simply could not see a thing because of the crowds.

I have two amusing stories from the weekend worth sharing:

First, we stayed in a house next door to one of the players (Todd Hamilton). Last night when we returned from dinner, I had the opportunity to peek into his kitchen window from our driveway to discover what a pro golfer does to prepare himself the night before the final day of the Masters:

He does the DISHES

"No Problem" Four sets of clubs & three friends....I actually
haven't tried it yet....not because of the clubs as you can
see. But four guys in my car with H-Sport springs????? I
don't think it will work. (photo to follow)
